Monitoring the performance of an Artificial Intelligence (AI)/Machine Learning (ML) model or algorithm is disclosed herein. In one embodiment, a method performed by a first network node in a radio communication network comprises sending at least one first message to a second network node of the radio communication network, the at least one first message comprising a subscription request to obtain from the second network node one or more historical data elements associated with the AI/ML model or algorithm. At least one second message, comprising one or more historical data elements associated with the AI/ML model or algorithm to be monitored by the first network node, is received from the second network node. At least one performance metric associated with the AI/ML model or algorithm to be monitored is determined based on the one or more historical data elements associated with the AI/ML model.

Systems and methods related to balancing random access resources between 2-step Random Access Channel (RACH) and 4-step RACH. In one embodiment, a method performed by a first network node comprises obtaining information related to 2-step RACH and/or 4-step RACH, for cell(s) and/or beam(s) controlled by the first network node. The method further comprises determining, based on the obtained information, first assistance information for 2-step and/or 4-step RACH configuration, for the cell(s) and/or the beam(s) controlled by the first network node. In one of its aspects, the disclosure concerns a method, performed by a first network node, for providing resource status information to a second network node. The first network node controls a radio cell comprising a plurality of partitions. The method comprises determining a resource status information based on a ratio between a resource status associated to the radio cell and a resource status associated to at least one partition of the radio cell. The method further comprises transmitting, to the second network node, a resource status update message comprising at least one information element comprising the determined resource status information.

A method performed by a first network node operating in with a Radio Access Technology with split architecture. The first network node is a Distributed Unit. The first network node receives one or more second indications from a second network node, a Centralized Unit. The indications comprise: i) a positive or a negative acknowledgement of a configuration conflict between a first RACH configuration in a first cell being a served cell, and a second RACH configuration in a second cell, the second cell being a neighbour cell to the first cell, ii) CU RACH assistance information associated to the conflict, the information comprising the second RACH configuration, and/or iii) a first third RACH configuration for the first cell. The first network node then updates the first RACH configuration to a second third RACH configuration, based on the indications.
