The present disclosure provides a system for predicting diabetic retinopathy progression. The system includes an image-capturing module and a processing unit. The image-capturing module is configured to capture a first fundus image of a user at a first time and a second fundus image of the user at a second time different from the first time. The processing unit is configured to receive the first fundus image and the second fundus image, compare the first fundus image and the second fundus image and indicate a difference between the first fundus image and the second fundus image. The processing unit is also configured to provide a prediction in a diabetic retinopathy progression of the user based on the difference. A method for predicting diabetic retinopathy progression is also provided in the present disclosure.

System and method for predicting diabetic retinopathy progression

The present disclosure relates to a therapeutic endoscope. The therapeutic endoscope includes a main body, an image sensor unit connected to the main body, and a cover attached to the main body. The cover includes a first opening adjacent to the image sensor unit, a second opening opposite to the first opening, and a sidewall extending between the first opening and the second opening. The sidewall of the cover includes a third opening connecting the first opening and the second opening. The present disclosure also relates to a cover for a therapeutic endoscope.

A hearing diagnosis device and a hearing diagnosis method are provided. The device includes a storage unit, an otoacoustic emission detecting module, and a hearing diagnosis management module. The storage unit stores a hearing diagnosis image sample database and a hearing information sample database. The otoacoustic emission detecting module is configured to perform an otoacoustic emission detecting operation by playing a test audio to an ear of a user to obtain a first hearing diagnosis image corresponding to the ear. This invention provides a method for obtaining ear drum standard image and the design of related otoscope and software, which includes the following steps: First, moving an otoscope with a circle sight to a target position in ear canal, and capturing an ear drum image; Then, choosing an ear drum region from the ear drum image, and calculating an area overlapping between the circle sight and the ear drum region. If the area does not satisfy a standard value, moving the otoscope to another target position, and repeating above steps; otherwise, choosing the ear drum image to be an ear drum standard image.

Method for obtaining ear drum standard image and the related design of otoscope and software

The invention provides a system and a method for an otitis media database constructing. The steps of method comprise: First, receiving a plurality of tympanic membrane images, wherein the tympanic membrane images are ear infection in different types. Second, choosing one of the tympanic membrane images, then classifying into a plurality of anatomic regions based on a plurality of tissue types. Coding each of anatomic regions with a numerical number to describe its morbid condition, and obtaining an eigenvalue through collecting the numerical number of each anatomic region. Furthermore, repeatedly choosing other one of tympanic membrane images until each tympanic membrane image obtaining the eigenvalue. And obtaining a matrix through collecting the eigenvalue of each tympanic membrane image, then generating an otitis media database.
