Provided is a method, a device and a positioning system for positioning a sensor at an optimized position for optimized monitoring of a technical system. The method includes providing a physical simulation model of the technical system, wherein the physical simulation model includes a virtual sensor at a given position, simulating a performance of the technical system by the physical simulation model, providing a response signal of the virtual sensor to the simulated performance at the given position, determining a first optimized position for the virtual sensor where the response signal is intensified by an optimization algorithm, and providing co-ordinates of the first optimized position for positioning a physical sensor at the technical system.

Method, device and positioning system for positioning a sensor

The present disclosure relates to a system, an apparatus, and a method for managing health condition of at least one rotating system. The method includes receiving, by a processing unit, operational data associated with the rotating system in real-time, from one or more sensing units. The operational data includes parameter values corresponding to an operation of the rotating system. Further, a virtual replica of the rotating system is configured using the operational data. A behavior of the rotating system is simulated on a simulation instance of the rotating system based on the configured virtual replica. The simulation results are analyzed to determine an abnormality in the health condition of the rotating system. The abnormality corresponds to a health status of an internal component of the rotating system. Further, a notification indicating the abnormality is generated, on a Graphical User Interface.

Managing health condition of a rotating system

Systems, devices, and methods of condition-based management of electro-mechanical systems are disclosed. The method includes generating a stress profile for the electro-mechanical system based on operating or simulating operation of the electro-mechanical system in accordance with a load profile, wherein the load profile indicative of operation duration and load capacity of the electro-mechanical system. The method further includes receiving condition data associated with the electro-mechanical system in operation from a plurality of sensing units and predicting a failure instance of the electro-mechanical system using an accelerated degradation model based on at least one of the stress profile and the condition data. The accelerated degradation model is generated when the electro-mechanical system is operated above a rated stress. The method further includes comparing the predicted failure instance with an actual failure instance upon failure of the electro-mechanical system, for tuning the accelerated degradation model.

System, apparatus and method of condition based management of one or more electro-mechanical systems

A system, apparatus and method of determining remaining life of a bearing is disclosed. The method includes generating a bearing model of the bearing. The bearing model is based on one of condition data associated with operation of the bearing, historical condition data of the bearing, bearing specification and technical specification of a technical system including the bearing. The method further includes predicting a defect in the bearing based on the bearing model and predicting the remaining life of the bearing based on the predicted defect.

Systems, methods, and control units for diagnosis and life prediction of one or more electro-mechanical system are provided. One method includes receiving sensor data from a plurality of sensors associated with operation of the electro-mechanical system. The method includes determining at least one system response associated with at least one failure mode of the electro-mechanical system from the sensor data, wherein the sensor data is indicative of the at least one failure mode of the electro-mechanical system. The method further includes receiving at least one simulated response associated with the at least one failure mode of the electro-mechanical system, wherein the at least one failure mode is simulated on a system model of the electro-mechanical system. The method includes generating a hybrid model of the electro-mechanical system in real-time based on the at least one system response and the at least one simulated response, wherein the hybrid model combines the at least one system response and the at least one simulated. The method also includes generating a diagnosis of the electro-mechanical system based on the hybrid model, wherein the diagnosis includes identification of one or more failures in the electro-mechanical system and wherein the one or more failures indicates initiation of degradation of the one or more electro-mechanical system. The method includes predicting a life trend of the electro-mechanical system based on the diagnosis.
