The present disclosure relates to a waveguide gasket arrangement (″) arranged for electrically sealing a waveguide interface () between a first waveguide end () and a second waveguide end (). The waveguide gasket arrangement (″) comprises a carrier arrangement (″) where a carrier aperture () is formed in the mounted carrier arrangement (″). The waveguide gasket arrangement (″) further comprises an electrically conducting flexible ribbon arrangement () that comprises at least one plurality of electrically conducting members () forming a coherent common structure. The ribbon arrangement () is mounted to a carrier aperture edge () that circumvents the carrier aperture () such that for each plurality of electrically conducting members (), a first plurality of electrically conducting members () is adapted to extend towards the first waveguide end () and a second plurality of electrically conducting members () is adapted to extend towards the second waveguide end ().

Waveguide gasket arrangement

The present disclosure relates to a waveguide gasket arrangement arranged for electrically sealing a waveguide interface between a first waveguide end and a second waveguide end, where the waveguide gasket arrangement comprises a first plurality of electrically conducting members connected to a first common structure along a first circumference. The waveguide gasket arrangement further comprises a second plurality of electrically conducting members connected to a second common structure along a second circumference. For each one of the first plurality of electrically conducting members and the second plurality of electrically conducting members there is a corresponding first sub-plurality of electrically conducting members which are intended to contact a waveguide end, and a second sub-plurality of electrically conducting members which are intended to contact a corresponding intermediate electrically conducting structure that is positioned between the first plurality of electrically conducting members and the second plurality of electrically conducting members.

The present disclosure relates to waveguide band-stop filter arrangement adapted to be connected to a waveguide transmission line at a filter interface, where the waveguide transmission line is adapted for a main propagation extension. The band-stop filter arrangement comprises a first pair of cavities, where each cavity in the first pair, each first pair cavity, comprises a corresponding inductive first pair aperture arrangement that is adapted to connect the corresponding first pair cavity to the waveguide transmission line. The first pair cavities are positioned adjacent each other along a stacking extension perpendicular to the main propagation extension such that they share a first common wall and are adapted to be positioned adjacent the waveguide transmission line. The first pair of cavities comprises a first capacitive aperture arrangement in the first common wall, mutually connecting the first pair cavities.

Waveguide band-stop filter arrangement

The present disclosure relates to a tunable waveguide resonator comprising a rectangular waveguide part having electrically conducting inner walls, a first waveguide port and a second waveguide port. The resonator comprises at least one tuning element positioned between the waveguide ports, where each tuning element comprises an electrically conducting body and a holding rod. The holding rod is attached to the electrically conducting body and is movable from the outside of the resonator such that the electrically conducting body can be moved between a plurality of positions within the waveguide part by means of the holding rod.

Tunable waveguide resonator

A tunable diplexer arrangement () comprising a first filter arrangement () and a second filter arrangement () connected to respective first () and second () filter ports of a junction (), the junction comprising a common port (), wherein at least the first filter arrangement () is a tunable filter comprising a first tuning element (), wherein the junction () comprises a first junction tuning element () corresponding to the first tuning element () and arranged in connection to the second filter port (), thereby enabling a tunable matching of the junction () with respect to a first frequency characteristic of the first filter arrangement ().

Tunable diplexer junction

The present disclosure relates to a tunable waveguide filter input/output coupling arrangement comprising a waveguide part, a coupling iris part and a tunable filter part. The waveguide part runs along a longitudinal extension and has a waveguide width extending perpendicular to the longitudinal extension, and is electrically connected to the tunable filter part by means of the coupling iris part which comprises an opening between the waveguide part and the tunable filter part. The opening is positioned at a certain position along the longitudinal extension. The waveguide part comprises a stub part that has a certain stub length along the longitudinal extension, between an electrical short-circuit end plate and an edge of the opening that is closest to the end plate, where the stub part also has a stub width extending perpendicular to the longitudinal extension.

Tunable waveguide filter input/output coupling arrangement

A waveguide transition includes a ridge waveguide section with a first ridge part running along a first wall having a first distance to an opposing second wall. The waveguide transition comprises a partial H-plane waveguide section with an electrically conducting foil that comprises a longitudinally running foil slot ending a certain edge distance before a foil edge that faces the ridge waveguide section. The ridge waveguide section and the partial H-plane waveguide section overlap during a transition section that has a first end at a transition between the second wall and a third wall. There is a second distance between the first wall and the third wall that exceeds the first distance. The transition section has a second end where the first ridge part ends by a transversely running second ridge part that crosses the foil slot and connects to a third wall.

Ridge waveguide to a partial H-plane waveguide transition

The present invention relates to a tuneable waveguide structure comprising a first, second, third and fourth electrically conducting inner wall. The first inner wall and the second inner wall are facing each other, and the third inner wall and the fourth inner wall are facing each other, the intended extension of the electrical field is parallel to the first inner wall and the second inner wall, and perpendicular to the third inner wall and the fourth inner wall. The waveguide structure comprises at least one tuning device that comprises a wall part that is movably arranged along an extension that is perpendicular to the intended extension of the electrical field. Each wall part is at least indirectly connected to support rods that are in sliding engagement with a corresponding sloped surface that is laterally adjustable in the extension of the slope. Each wall part may be constituted by an electrically conducting foil.

Electrically tuneable waveguide structure

The present disclosure relates to a waveguide gasket () arranged for electrically sealing a waveguide interface () between a first contact end () and second contact end () of the waveguide gasket. The waveguide gasket () comprises a plurality of electrically conducting members () that are positioned along a circumference () along which the waveguide gasket () extends. Each electrically conducting member () has a first end () and a second end () compressibly separable by a variable first height (h) along a first direction (d). Each first end () faces the first contact end () and each second end () faces the second side contact end (), where each first contact end () and each second contact end () are separated by a variable second height (h) along the first direction (d), At least one electrically conducting member () is arranged to expand only along said circumference () when compressed.

Waveguide gasket

The present invention relates to a transition arrangement () between a SIW and a waveguide interface (). The SIW comprises a dielectric material (), a first and second metal layer () and a first and second electric wall element () running essentially parallel and electrically connecting the metal layers (). The transition arrangement () comprises a coupling aperture () in the first metal layer () and a third wall element () running between the first and second electric wall elements (). The transition arrangement () further comprises an intermediate transition element () with a first and second main surface (), and a transition aperture () having first and second opening () with corresponding first and second widths (w, w). The transition element () is mounted over the coupling aperture (), the first width (w) exceeding the second width (w) and the transition from the first width (w) to the second width (w) taking place between the first opening () and the second opening () in at least one step (). The second opening () is mounted to the waveguide interface () having an interface opening () being offset relative the second opening (), a front step () being formed.

Transition between a SIW and a waveguide interface

The present disclosure relates to a radio system comprising an antenna device, an antenna connector arrangement and a radio transceiver with a transmitter branch and a receiver branch. The antenna connector arrangement connects the antenna device to the transmitter branch and to the receiver branch, and comprises a first tuneable band-stop filter, a second tuneable band-stop filter and a three-way-junction. The first tuneable band-stop filter is connected to the transmitter branch and a transmitter input port of the three-way-junction to filter radio signals, and the second tuneable band-stop filter is connected to the receiver branch and a receiver output port of the three-way-junction to filter radio signals. The three-way-junction comprises a first antenna port that is connected to the antenna device. The present disclosure also relates to an antenna connector arrangement, an antenna arrangement, and an electrically tuneable waveguide band-stop filter arrangement.

Radio system antenna connector arrangement

It is provided a waveguide E-plane band-pass filter comprising a tubular, electrically conductive waveguide body. An electrically conductive foil is arranged in the waveguide body and extending along a longitudinal direction of the waveguide body, the foil comprising a plurality of resonator openings. Furthermore, the waveguide body comprises at least one ridge protruding from an inner wall of the waveguide body and extending longitudinally along the longitudinal direction of the waveguide body. The foil is in mechanical contact with said at least one ridge and arranged to divide an inner volume of the waveguide body into two portions. It is also provided a diplexer, a radio transceiver, and a method for filtering a signal using such a filter.

Waveguide E-plane filter

An antenna arrangement comprising a SIW with at least one radiating arrangement. The SIW comprises a dielectric material, a first and second metal layer and a first and second electric wall element running essentially parallel and electrically connecting the metal layers. For each radiating arrangement, the antenna arrangement comprises at least one coupling aperture in the first metal layer, and for each coupling aperture there is a third wall element running between the first and second electric wall elements, across a SIW longitudinal extension (e). For each radiating arrangement, the antenna arrangement further comprises an at least partly electrically conducting antenna component which comprises at least four radiating elements and is surface-mounted on the first metal layer, enclosing at least one coupling aperture. For each radiating arrangement, electromagnetic signals are arranged to be transmitted between said coupling aperture and said radiating elements.

SIW antenna arrangement

A waveguide E-plane filter component comprising a first main part and a second main part which in turn comprise a corresponding first and second waveguide section part. The main parts are arranged to be mounted to each other, each waveguide section part comprising a bottom wall, corresponding side walls and an open side, where the open sides are arranged to face each other. The waveguide E-plane filter component further comprises at least one electrically conducting foil that is arranged to be placed between the main parts, said foil comprising a filter part that is arranged to run between the waveguide section parts, the filter part comprising apertures, in said foil.
