A method performed by CU-CP of a base station configured as a donor base station for one or more IAB nodes comprises transmitting a first message to setup or modify a first bearer context for a first bearer in a central unit user plane, CU-UP, of the base station, wherein the first message comprises an information element indicating mapping information for use in determining a mapping of the first bearer to a backhaul radio link control, BH RLC, channel.

Embodiments include methods for a UE to perform mobility operations in a wireless network based on conditions related to data traffic. Such methods include receiving, from a network node, one or more conditional reconfigurations. Each includes a reconfiguration message associated with a candidate target cell and one or more execution conditions that need to be fulfilled to apply the reconfiguration message when performing a mobility operation, including at least one first execution condition related to UE data traffic and/or to one or more UE applications. Such methods include monitoring for the execution conditions in the conditional reconfigurations and based on detecting fulfillment of one or more execution conditions in a particular conditional measurement configuration, performing a mobility operation towards the candidate target cell associated with the reconfiguration message in the particular conditional measurement configuration. The method further comprises performing measurements on a first radio access technology (RAT) and on a second RAT. The second RAT is different than the first RAT. A method, system and apparatus are disclosed for preventing reestablishment at descendant nodes with no alternative paths in Integrated Access Backhaul (IAB) networks. In one embodiment, a method implemented in a network node configured to communicate with at least one descendant node over a backhaul network includes transmitting an indication to the at least one descendant network node in which the indication is associated with a radio link failure; and receiving at least one message in response to the indication, the at least one message being associated with an alternative path availability of the at least one descendant network node toward a third network node.

A method is performed by a source Central Unit (CU) in an Integrated Access and Wireless Access Backhaul (IAB) network. The method includes transmitting, by the source CU, a message requesting a handover of a plurality of migrating devices associated with a first IAB node migrating from the source CU to a target CU. The message comprises at least one globally unique identifier of at least one management function serving the plurality of migrating devices.

A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may transmit a first message indicating flight path information is available. The WTRU may receive a second message including a flight path reporting configuration. The flight path reporting configuration may request the flight path information. The flight path reporting configuration may include at least one of: a number of waypoints; whether to include timestamp information; or a configuration to periodically report flight path information updates. The WTRU may transmit an initial flight path message within a third message. At a configured periodicity, the WTRU may evaluate whether the flight path information has changed since a previous flight path report was transmitted.
