Device for converting the rotary motion of an eccentric driven by a motor shaft into an oscillating motion of a working tool in electrically powered appliances, consisting of a double-armed rocker arm and a connecting rod connecting the rocker arm with the eccentric, as well as a single articulation at whose articulation midpoint all the motion axes of the connecting rod and rocker arm meet directly or indirectly.

A circuit board is fabricated by injection molding a support of an insulating material. The support is provided with channels in the pattern of conductive paths. The channels are filled by injection with electrically conductive plastic, and electrically conductive metal is precipitated galvanoplastically on the plastic.

A long-hair cutter unit associated with a device, such as an electric shaver, includes a lever which translates rotary oscillators to line motion of a slide member. The slide member is connected to a movable cutter part. The lever is preferably integrally formed with the slide member and includes an arm portion having first and second hinge portions.

A dryshaver has a beard cutter and a drive which powers the same. The dryshaver also has a long-hair trimmer and a fist slide on which the trimmer is mounted and which is movable to and from an operating position in which the trimmer is operatively coupled with the drive to be powered by the same. A switch is provided which controls the supply of electrical energy to the drive, and a second slide--mounted on or in the first slide for movement relative to the same--has a projection which activates or de-activates the swtich in dependence upon the movement of the second slide.

Dryshaver

A container for storing objects comprises a pair of spaced container sections and a hinge structure connected between the sections. Each of these sections is pivotably mounted on the hinge structure so that it is turnable in a path through a full 360.degree. revolution about a respective imaginary axis which extends generally in direction transversely of the path. The hinge structure includes a plurality of spur gears, and one of the gears has a set of teeth aligned so as to extend transversely of the path of movement and another of the gears has a different set of teeth which is inclined relative to said first-mentioned set so as to frictionally retain the container sections at any selected position relative to each other in the path. It is preferred if the container is generally box-shaped for storing such objects as electric shavers and other analogous shaving accessories.
