A spiral displacement machine has a displacer with a central disk and spiral vanes on both sides arranged to revolve eccentrically in a housing with spiral vanes to provide working chambers which rotate spirally. The beginning and end regions of the vanes are angularly offset so that the working chambers do not open or close simultaneously.

A displacement machine for compressible media, with at least one displacement chamber arranged in a stationary housing and rendered in the manner of a groove extending with a spiral shape, and with a band-shaped or tongue-shaped displacement body associated with each displacement chamber and likewise rendered in spiral shape is described. The displacement body is held on a discoid rotor, which can be driven eccentrically relative to the housing, in such a manner that during operation, each of its outside wall points performs a circular movement bounded by the peripheral walls of the displacement chamber. The curvature of the displacement body relative to the curvature of the displacement chamber is dimensioned such that the displacement body nearly comes in contact with the radially inner and outer peripheral walls of the displacement chamber. For sealing the radial gap formed between the stationary housing and the rotor a sheet metal strip with a roughness applied in a precisely targeted fashion is held on one of the surfaces of the components to be sealed. In order to create an arrangement which can be produced as simply and easily as possible, the sheet metal strip is to be provided with outwardly projecting scale-like embossings and said sheet metal strip is to be constituted by an aluminum foil cemented on to the component.

A fuel injection device for continuously injecting the mixture of fuel and air into the cylinders of an internal combustion engine has an intake pipe, an arbitrarily adjustable throttle flap, and a venturi in the intake pipe at a point upstream of the throttle flap. An air channel branches off from the narrowest point of the venturi and a main fuel metering arrangement supplies fuel to the mixing chamber portion of the channel substantially as a function of the air pressure at the venturi. A suction line is connected to receive the air and fuel from the mixing chamber in the channel and an idling fuel metering arrangement supplies fuel under constant pressure to the line during idling. A fuel delivery pump is connected to receive the air and fuel mixture in the line and to supply the mixture to the points of injection associated with the several cylinders of the engine. Means are provided for drawing additional fuel from the idling fuel metering arrangement by the action of negative pressure near the exit orifice of the metering arrangement during periods of low partial engine loads.

Device for continuous injection of a mixture consisting of fuel and air

Apparatus for continuously injecting fuel into the intake pipe of an internal combustion engine. The apparatus has an air channel branching off from the intake pipe at a point ahead of an adjustable throttle flap; a fuel metering device supplying fuel to the air channel in dependence upon engine load; and a fuel delivery pump arranged to receive a fuel-air mixture from the air channel through a narrowed constriction. The fuel delivery pump is constructed to convey fuel mixed with air even under conditions of maximum engine load. The fuel metering device has fuel exit openings which are directed toward the narrow constriction of the air channel forming the fuel delivery pump inlet.

Fuel injection apparatus

Apparatus for injecting fuel into the intake pipes of an internal combustion engine. The apparatus has an air channel branching off from the intake line at a point ahead of an adjustable throttle flap; a fuel metering device supplying fuel to the air channel in dependence upon engine load; and a fuel delivery pump arranged to receive a fuel-air mixture from the air channel through a narrowed constriction. The fuel pump passes the fuel-air mixture, with additional air which may be supplied thereto, to a fuel distributor which directs the mixture to the individual intake pipes of the engine.
