A facility for the automated opening of a carrier and for the provision of the carrier in loading and transport aids, the facility including a carrier feed appliance for feeding flatly closed carrier to a holder of a first conveying appliance, and a first conveying appliance for conveying the flatly closed carrier, which are held the holder, to a carrier opening appliance. The carrier opening appliance opens the flatly closed carrier. A merging appliance brings the carrier into the loading and transport aids. A second conveying appliance transports away the loading and transport aids with the opened carriers, which are arranged in the loading and transport aids.

Method for the automatic opening of a carrier means as well as an appliance for carrying out the method

In a method for producing a collection of pre-products by wrapping a second pre-product around a first pre-product, it is provided according to the invention that said method comprises a number of steps. In one step, a first pre-product is provided, which has an edge region. In another step, a second pre-product is provided. In a further step, the second pre-product is conveyed into a wrapping position. In a further step, the first pre-product is conveyed, with the edge region in front, against the second pre-product located in the wrapping position, as a result of which a wrapping operation is initiated on the second pre-product.

Device and a method for braking conveying vehicles of a conveying device

The device for separating product parts of a multi-part, flat product includes a receiving unit for receiving the product, a device for separating the product parts and a retaining device for acting on one of the product parts for the purpose of maintaining the separation of the product parts. The receiving unit includes a first friction element and a second friction element, which is movable with respect to the first friction element. The two friction elements are arranged on the receiving unit such that the product can be firmly clamped between the friction elements. The friction elements are designed such that the static friction between the product part and the friction element assigned to this is greater than the static friction between the product parts, so that the product parts can be moved with respect to one another given a relative movement between the two friction elements firmly clamping the product.

Receiver units () for taking over objects () are moved past a take-over location (S, S) and include an abutment () which limits the position of the object () which is fed in the feed direction (F). At least one holding element and/or braking element () acts in a direct or indirect manner on the objects to be taken over, for realising a defined product position, in particular so that the object () does not bend up or rebound from the abutment (). In one variant, the holding element and/or braking element () brakes the object () by way of direct friction. In another variant, the object () to be taken over transmits its momentum onto an object () which is already held in the receiver unit () by way of the holding element and/or braking element, and is braked by way of this.
