The present disclosure relates to a method for manufacturing a bent component. The present disclosure moreover relates to a shaping tool for manufacturing a bent component. The shaping tool comprises a first tool half, a second tool half and at least one movable cylinder pin. The first tool half of the shaping tool is arranged opposite the second half of the shaping tool. An outer end of the at least one cylinder pin herein points in the direction of the second half of the shaping tool. A holding element for receiving a flat bendable element is assembled on this outer end of the at least one cylinder pin.

Apparatus to form and assemble a flexible cover on a carrier

The application relates to a composite part which comprises a cell core, a connecting layer, a planar glass and optionally a further flexible layer. The cell core is filled with a hardened polymer, such that the composite part can be produced in a one-shot process.

A molding tool and method for producing an interior trim part. A cavity is embodied between a first element and a second element, and a slide is displaceably connected to the first element. A decorative layer is arranged on the first element and a backing is arranged on the second element. A foamable mixture is added to the hollow area between the backing and a reverse side of the decorative layer, such that a foam layer fills the hollow area. A distance between the first element and the second element is increased to enlarge the hollow area. During this process, the slide is pressed against a side facing away from the reverse side of the decorative layer, such that the hollow area is sealed with the reverse side of the decorative layer pressed against a lateral surface of the backing and/or against a lateral surface of the second element.

Method for producing an interior trim part of a vehicle and molding tool

A trim element includes a body defining an outer surface of the trim element, at least part of the body being deformable and having a deformable guide surface extending in a first direction. The trim element further includes at least one actuating element having an actuating segment extending non-rectilinearly in the first direction. The actuating segment cooperates with the guide surface in an actuating area, the guide surface adopting the shape of the actuating segment in the actuating area. The actuating segment is movable relative to the body in the first direction such that the actuating area is movable and the body deforms when the actuating element is moved in the first direction.

Trim element comprising a deformable outer surface

The present application relates to a method for fabricating a vehicle interior trim part. The proposed method comprises the step of providing a glass panel with a backside and a first and a second region. In a further step, a first stiffener is attached to the first region of the glass panel. Thereby, a stiffened region of the glass panel is formed. The method further comprises the step of bending the second region of the glass panel by cold forming so that a bent region of the glass panel is formed in a region adjacent to the stiffened region. The method further comprises the step of holding the glass panel in shape using a means of fixation.

Method for fabricating a vehicle interior trim part and vehicle interior trim part

This document relates to a molding tool for forming and back-injecting a bendable sheet including a mold that includes a first mold half and a second mold half. The first half is arranged opposite the second half forming a cavity for receiving the bendable sheet and a melt. Further, the mold includes at least one pin for holding the bendable sheet and the pin is retractable in response to a force exerted on the pin by a pressure of the injected melt during back injection.

A device for manufacturing inner trim elements which are formed by a rigid carrier and a cover layer, between which elements a polymer foam layer is arranged. The carrier is fixable on a first molding tool element, and the cover layer is fixable between the outer edge of the first molding tool element and the outer edge of a second molding tool element. In the molding tool, a cavity is formed between the carrier and the cover layer, wherein a foamable polymer is introducible into the cavity via at least one through-hole which is formed in the carrier and the first molding tool element. The first layer comprises at least one material or a material composite which absorbs at least 50 percent of an incident electromagnetic radiation in the visible wavelength region and reflects at least 50 percent of an incident electromagnetic radiation in the infrared region.
