A pre-fabricated heatable media line having at least one pipe- and/or hose-type media line, at least one line connector located on the end of the line and at least one pre-fabricated heating element, the pre-fabricated heating element including at least two heating element portions connected in at least one circuit and at least one of the heating element portions extends over at least part of the at least one line connector and the at least one pipe- and/or hose-type media line in order to heat the at least one part of the line connector and the at least one pipe- and/or hose-type media line. In the pre-fabricated heatable media line, at least one of the heating element portions is designed as a mixed stranded wire having a number of stranded individual wires consisting of at least two different materials.

A heatable line pipe useful for diesel fuel systems and fuel cell systems is provided. The heatable line pipe comprises in order from an inside of the pipe: a) an electrically insulating inner layer; b) a first electrically conductive layer; c) at least two current leads wound spirally around the first electrically conductive layer; d) a second electrically conductive layer over the at least two current leads forming a surface; and e) an outer cladding of an electrically insulating plastic material. The thickness of the second electrically conductive layer is 0.1 to 1.5 mm, and the at least two current leads form wave peaks in the surface of the second electrically conductive layer. The line pipe has the advantage that a fall in heating performance over the lifetime is effectively prevented.

A heatable fluid line having a pipeline and an electrical heat conductor extending at least over a section of the pipeline. The pipeline has at least two longitudinal sections that are configured differently in respect of the material properties and/or design thereof. At least one first longitudinal section is formed of a first material and a second longitudinal section is formed of a second material. The material of the second longitudinal section is more flexible and/or has a higher resilience than the material of the first longitudinal section. A described method for producing the fluid line relates to an adaptive attachment of the heat conductor on the outside of the pipeline that permits the heat conductor to be wound around fluid coupling and/or connector parts, in particular the housings by means of which the line is assembled, without strand separation.

Heatable fluid line, use thereof and method for producing same

An assembled media line, or a section of a media line, for connecting a tank to a dosing unit in order to add a reducing agent into a SCR catalyst system of an internal combustion engine. The fluid line has electric heating in some sections for heating of the fluid. The fluid line is additionally provided, at least in some areas, with fluid tempering. In use, the media line connects a tank to a dosing unit in order to add a reducing agent in a SCR catalyst system of an internal combustion engine, and wherein the engine coolant is used as tempering fluid. The tempering is achieved by inclusion of at least one tempering line running alongside the fluid line. A line connector for such a media line includes a connecting housing in which the fluid line and two tempering lines can be connected.

In a method for producing a heatable medium pipe, comprising the medium pipe, at least one pipe connector, a transition area between the medium pipe and the pipe connector, and at least one heating element, wherein the heating element has a few wires, in particular one or two wires, the medium pipe is pre-assembled with the at least one pipe connector, the wire or the few wires of the heating element are pre-assembled as a double-laid, one or two-part element or as an element connected to form a continuous part, the wire(s) are fastened on the outside of the pipe connector, transition area and medium pipe, and the ends of the wire(s) are guided into a feed-in connector for connecting to a current source or voltage source.

Heatable medium pipe

A heatable medium pipe having at least one pipe connector and heating element, wherein the heating element has a few wires, in particular two wires, and said wires extend continuously along the medium pipe and along the at least one pipe connector. In a method for producing such a heatable medium pipe, the heating element is continuously wound around a tubular medium pipe and the heating element is pre-assembled on the medium pipe in that the heating element is fastened or fixed by at least one fastening element, the medium pipe is cut to a first length for the particular application, the length corresponding to the desired medium pipe length (l) plus the heating element length (l) required for wrapping around the at least one pipe connector and the transition area the fastening element is removed in the region outside the desired medium pipe length (l), the heating element is unwrapped from the medium pipe section cut from the first length, the medium pipe is cut to the desired medium pipe length (l) to form a second medium pipe section, the medium pipe section is connected to the at least one pipe connector as the medium pipe, and the heating element is at least wrapped around the at least one pipe connector.

Heatable medium pipe and method for producing same

The present invention relates to an electrically heatable media line (), comprising a fluid line () and at least one fluid connector () connected to a line end (). The present invention relates to a line connector for media lines, consisting of a connector piece with at least one junction portion for junction connection to a media line or to an assembly and with a transitional portion contiguous to the junction portion and having a flow duct. In this case, at least in the region of the transitional portion, electrical heating means are provided in an arrangement at least partially surrounding the flow duct.
