A method for producing an absorbent structure for absorbent sanitary articles, comprising the steps of: advancing a first non-woven layer at a first speed, with a first surface of said first non-woven layer facing a suction chamber, distributing superabsorbent granular material on a second surface of said first non-woven layer opposite to said first surface, volumizing said first non-woven layer by means of a toothed portion that penetrates into said first non-woven layer through said second surface and movable with respect to said first non-woven layer with a speed difference.

Method and apparatus for producing an absorbent structure

A device for printing a web moving in a direction (Y), wherein ink jets print on the web a printing width across its direction (Y) of advancement while traversing a printing station. The printing station includes one or more printer heads that produce ink jets over a footprint width which is narrower than the intended printing width over the web. One or more shaping elements bestow on the web traversing the printing station a V-shape so that the web is at least locally oriented oblique to the linear array of nozzles that project the ink. The ink from the printer head(s) is thus printed over the intended printing width of the web.

Method and device for ink-jet printing a moving web

The present invention relates to a method of applying molten hot melt adhesives, which comprise volatile material, at a constant adhesive mass flow rate. According to the method of the present invention the molten hot melt adhesive containing volatile material is applied under raised pressure. Specifically, the present invention is useful in the field of producing absorbent articles for personal hygiene.
