Provided is a camera optical lens including seven lenses sequentially from object side to image side: first lens having negative refractive power, second lens having positive refractive power, third lens having positive refractive power, fourth lens having positive refractive power, fifth lens having negative refractive power, sixth lens having positive refractive power, seventh lens having negative refractive power and with object and image side surfaces being free-form surfaces. Focal length of camera optical lens is f; focal length of first lens is f1, focal length of third lens is f3, focal length of fourth lens is f4; refractive index of third lens is nd3; refractive index of sixth lens is nd6; refractive index of seventh lens is nd7, and following relational expressions are satisfied: −1.52≤f1/f≤−1.38; 1.56≤nd3≤1.59; 1.53≤nd6≤1.81; 1.61≤nd7≤1.67; 2.04≤f3/f4≤2.27. The camera optical lens has excellent optical characteristics, and has large aperture, wide field of view, ultra-thinning and low optical distortion.

Camera optical lens

Provided are an imaging assembly and a camera including the imaging assembly. The imaging assembly comprises: an installing support; filtering devices installed to the installing support and movable relative to the installing support, the filtering devices comprising a first filtering device and a second filtering device; and an image sensor installed to the installing support and configured to receive a light signal filtered by the filtering devices. The first filtering device and the second filtering device each is capable of moving to a respective preset position for filtering incoming light; and light transmittance of the first filtering device is smaller than light transmittance of the second filtering device. With such design, the filtering devices having different light transmittances can be used respectively in a bright environment and in a dark environment, thereby increasing imaging quality in a dark environment, and thus being more in line with actual usage requirements.

In one example, a digital image capture unit comprises a gated image sensor configured to operate multiple sensor exposure events per a single image frame readout. The digital image capture unit further comprises a motion monitor configured to monitor motion related to the digital image capture unit. The digital image capture unit further comprises a controller configured to instruct the gated image sensor to discard a sensor exposure event of the multiple sensor exposure events in response to a temporally corresponding monitored motion related to the digital image capture unit failing to meet a motion requirement.
