Power electronics device, such as a frequency converter, comprising power units (REC, INU, INU, CDC), a metal frame () and a DC bus arrangement in which the power units are connected. The power units may be assembled inside the metal frame () wherein the shape of the metal frame is elongated with rectangular cross-sectional shape, consisting of a bottom part () and from that essentially vertical oriented side wall parts (). The DC bus arrangement is arranged on top of the bottom part () of the metal frame () and separated by an insulator layer (S) from the metal frame (). The DC bus arrangement comprises a first DC bus current conductor (DC+) and a second DC bus current conductor (DC&#x2212;) which are arranged apart from each other. The DC bus current conductors (DC+, DC&#x2212;) have a flat shape in such a way that their thickness dimension is essentially shorter than their width dimension.

Arrangement for oscillation dampening

Arrangement for cooling, with liquid, one or more electrical devices or structural units of an electrical device that is/are in at least one installation enclosure. A main channeling includes two channels, for distributing the liquid to the electrical devices to be cooled or to the structural units of the electrical devices, a liquid container, which is connected to one of the main channels directly and to the other main channel via a suction channel a pump and a heat exchanger, and also a shut-off valve. The liquid container is disposed below the electrical devices to be cooled or their structural elements, and the amount of liquid to be contained in the arrangement is configured to be such the ends of both the suction channel and the return channel that are inside the liquid container are always situated below the liquid surface.

Liquid cooling arrangement

Power electronics device, such as a frequency converter, which includes liquid-cooled power units (REC, REC, AFE, AFE, INU, INU, DC/DC, DC/AC) and also a substrate arrangement. The power units include at least one power semiconductor component, e.g. an IGBT or a diode, connected to at least one power circuit connecting them. The power units are mechanically separate and they are disposed on at least one substrate provided with liquid cooling ducts. The substrate is common to more than one power unit, wherein the substrate includes liquid cooling interfaces and power circuit interfaces for each power unit that can be connected to it. In addition, the substrate includes one liquid cooling interface and one power circuit interface (DC+, DC&#x2212;) to outside the substrate.

Power electronics device

Liquid-cooled power unit of a power electronics device, which power unit includes at least two power modules, the cooling surface of which power modules is provided with pin-type protrusions and which power modules are fixed to the frame part of the power unit. A liquid duct is arranged inside the frame part of the power unit, and the power modules are fixed to the points of the apertures situated in the frame part on both sides of the liquid duct in such a way that the pin-type protrusions of the power modules are situated in the liquid duct. A wedge-shaped part is disposed in the liquid duct, which wedge-shaped part includes a wedge-shaped front part for spreading the liquid flow into two essentially equal flows at the point of the power modules.

Power electronics device and its cooling arrangement

Method and arrangement for determining the remaining lifetime of a component of a power electronics appliance, such as a frequency converter, in which the lifetime data that is dependent on the ambient conditions and operation as specified by the manufacturer of the component is used, in which method at least one magnitude connected to ambient conditions, such as temperature, is determined, at least one loading magnitude of the component, such as speed of rotation, is determined and the calculation of the remaining lifetime is performed on the basis of at least one magnitude connected to ambient conditions, such as temperature, and of at least one loading magnitude of the component, such as speed of rotation, as well as of the lifetime data that is dependent on these ambient conditions and loading as specified by the manufacturer of the component.

Determination of the lifetime of a component

The invention relates to a liquid cooling element for cooling heat generating elements of frequency converters, in particular, and an arrangement for connecting the liquid cooling element. The liquid cooling elementis provided with two channel systems: horizontal channelsand transverse channelsconnecting said horizontal channels. The liquid cooling elementis characterized by consisting of one integral piece, the transverse channelsbeing arranged eccentrically to the horizontal channelssuch that the longitudinal axis of the transverse channelis closer to the lateral face of the cooling element than the longitudinal axis of the horizontal channeland the outer edge of the transverse channelextends closer to the lateral face of the cooling element than the outer edge of the horizontal channel. The liquid cooling element is connected to protect the liquid cooling against leakage such that around the pipes supplying cooling liquid into the horizontal channels there is arranged a second pipehaving a larger diameter.

A fixing and protecting arrangement for a capacitor may include a cooling element, one or more recesses arranged in the cooling element, and a capacitor intended to be fixed into each recess. The capacitor may be arranged in the recess in such a way that a lower surface of the capacitor is in contact with the cooling element for transferring heat from the capacitor to the cooling element.

Fixing and protecting arrangement for a capacitor

The invention relates to a cooling arrangement for an adjustable electric drive. The arrangement is arranged to conduct heat generated in electric devices by means of a liquid flowing through the cooling element to the surrounding space. The arrangement comprises a cooling element which is made of aluminum and to which components to be cooled can be fastened, and a base having means for fastening the cooling element. The arrangement is characterized in that the base is made of an aluminum profile that is stiffened and has mounting rails for receiving the cooling element and for preventing the movement of the cooling element transversely to the longitudinal direction of the mounting rails, and the cooling element can be fastened perpendicular to the profile base by using fastening means that support the cooling element so that components can be fastened to the cooling element, whereby the combined base and cooling element serve as a heat-conducting support base of the frequency converter.

Cooling system for adjustable electric drive

The invention relates to a cooling arrangement in a frequency converter, the arrangement being configured to convey heat generated at the frequency converter to a space surrounding the frequency converter, comprising a power part () of the frequency converter, a control part () and cooling means, comprising a cooling motor () and a transfer means () for producing cooling. In accordance with the invention, a cooling frequency converter is arranged in connection with the frequency converter to control the cooling means. The power part of the cooling frequency converter comprises a rectifier () of the frequency converter, an intermediate circuit () of the frequency converter as well as a unique power unit () of the cooling frequency converter. The power unit () is arranged between the intermediate circuit () and the cooling motor () in order to supply power to the cooling motor (), the cooling frequency converter having a control unit () connected to the power unit () and controlling the same.

Cooling arrangement in frequency converter

The present invention relates to a fixing and protecting arrangement for a capacitor. The arrangement comprises a cooling element, one or more recesses arranged in the cooling element, and a capacitor intended to be fixed into each recess. The arrangement is characterized in that it comprises one or more recesses arranged in the cooling element, in which recess the capacitor is intended to be arranged in such a way that the lower surface of the capacitor is in contact with the cooling element for transferring heat from the capacitor to the cooling element.

The invention relates to a fastening device for fastening a toroidal choking coil () to a base or the like, the toroidal choking coil comprising an inner circumference defined by a surface parallel with an axis of rotation of the toroidal choking coil and located closest to the axis of rotation. The toroidal choking coil further comprises an outer circumference defined by a surface parallel with the axis of rotation of the toroidal choking coil and located outermost from the axis of rotation, and side surfaces defined by surfaces perpendicular to the axis of rotation of the toroidal choking coil and connecting the inner circumference and the outer circumference. The fastening device for a toroidal choking coil of the invention comprises at least one pair of choking coil fasteners () consisting of a first choking coil fastener () and a second choking coil fastener (), arranged to be installed on opposite side surfaces of the toroidal choking coil (), and that at least one choking coil fastener () is arranged to come at least partly into contact with the outer circumference of the toroidal choking coil () and at least one choking coil fastener () is arranged to come at least partly into contact with the inner circumference of the toroidal choking coil ().

The invention relates to a fastening device for a toroidal choking coil for fastening a toroidal coil () to an electric device or a corresponding supporting base (), the toroidal choking coil comprising an inner circumference defined by a surface parallel with an axis of rotation of the toroidal choking coil () and located closest to the axis of rotation, an outer circumference defined by a surface parallel with the axis of rotation of the toroidal choking coil () and located outermost from the axis of rotation, and side surfaces defined by surfaces perpendicular to the axis of rotation of the toroidal choking coil () and connecting the inner circumference and the outer circumference. Fastening device for toroidal choking coil

An arrangement for fastening a capacitor to an electrotechnical device and for protecting the capacitor from stresses caused by the environment. The arrangement includes a disk-like frame, one or more openings pierced in the frame, a capacitor to be fastened to each opening and one or more substantially hollow domed fastening and protection means, inside of which one of the capacitors is arranged, wherein each of the fastening and protection means is arranged into one of the openings in the frame.
