Configuration indication

A method for a transfer of a UE context within a secondary network from a source secondary network node to a target secondary network node. The UE is served by a master network node and the source secondary network node. The method includes the following steps performed by the UE: receiving a first message indicative of a secondary network node measurement configuration; based on the measurement configuration, performing measurements of potential candidates for a target secondary network node; and sending a second message comprising a measurement report indicative of the measurements of potential candidates for a target secondary node.

Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to devices, methods, apparatuses and computer readable storage media for transferring traffic in integrated access and backhaul (IAB) communication. According to embodiments of the present disclosure, a first Central Unit-Control Plane (CU-CP) of a first IAB donor transmits, to a second CU-CP of a second IAB donor, a request to transfer target traffic via a Distributed Unit (DU) of the second IAB donor. The request comprises first information of the target traffic. The first CU-CP receives, from the second CU-CP, second information to be used for configuring the target traffic. This solution can improve the reliability and robustness of the IAB communication.

In some embodiments, a method performed by a wireless device in a cellular communications system comprises transmitting measurements with a first message to a network node. Early measurement reporting with RRC resume request message and indication of request for early measurements in association with paging

A wireless device operates with dual connectivity to a Master node and a Secondary node, which are both New Radio, NR, nodes. It receives measurement and/or reporting configuration information from a network. It determines whether the received 5 configuration information relates to a MCG or a SCG. Specifically, it is determined that the received configuration information relates to the MCG if the configuration information is received directly within an RRCReconfiguration message received via SRB1, or that the received configuration information relates to the SCG if the configuration information is received directly within an RRCReconfiguration messagereceived via SRB3, or alternatively if the configuration information is received in an RRCReconfiguration message that is embedded within an RRCReconfiguration message received via SRB1.

Measurement configuration in NR-DC

A method performed by a User Equipment, UE, for handling a Secondary Cell Group, SCG, configuration in a wireless communications network is provided. The UE receives () from a network node, an SCG configuration and a trigger condition related to the signal quality of a cell associated with the SCG configuration. Handling a secondary cell group configuration

According to an aspect, one or more network nodes of a wireless communication system sends, to a wireless device operating in the wireless communication system, mobility reference signal (MRS) configuration information, the MRS configuration information specifying one or more parameters for each of a plurality of MRS configurations. The network node subsequently sends, to the wireless device, an activation command indicating that at least a first one of the MRS configurations is to be used by the wireless device, the activation command including an index identifying the first one of the MRS configurations from among the plurality of MRS configurations. The wireless device receives the MRS configuration information and the activation command. The wireless device searches for at least one MRS specified by the first one of the MRS, responsive to the activation command and performs at least one measurement on the at least one MRS.

Two-level mobility reference signal configuration

According to certain embodiments, disclosed is a method in a master node (MN) for minimizing user plane interruption delay. The method includes transmitting a handover request message to a secondary node (SN), receiving a handover request acknowledge message from the SN, and transmitting a reconfiguration instruction to a wireless device operating in dual connectivity with the MN and the SN. A method performed by a network node for handling measurements in a multi connectivity communication between a User Equipment (UE), and multiple nodes is provided. Network node and method for handling measurements in a multi connectivity communication

Systems and methods for triggering measurements before the completion of connection resumption are provided. In some embodiments, a method performed by a wireless device for performing measurements where a current Radio Resource Control (RRC) status is: IDLE or INACTIVE. The method includes monitoring for a potential reception of a downlink message in a cell that the wireless device is camping on; detecting, based upon the reception of the downlink message, information regarding performing measurements; performing measurements based on the information regarding performing the measurements; and reporting the measurement results. In some embodiments, the message is a paging message or a message multiplexed with the paging message. In this way, latency might be reduced to start performing measurements. This early availability of measurements at the target cell might increase the speed at which the wireless device acquires wireless connections such as Carrier Aggregation (CA) or Dual Connectivity (DC) connections.
