The invention relates to an animal trap comprising a tunnel shaped housing, which is open at one of its ends, at the opening or entrance end of which housing a clamping device is provided, which is movable in the cross direction of the housing, the clamping device being released by actuation of a sensing organ located behind the same.

A device for tightening a safety belt for vehicles provided with an inertial switch adapted to sense abnormal changes in the movement of the vehicle, a motor being arranged to activate the safety belt by means of a cylindrical inertial body connected thereto. The body under normal operating conditions is under rotation, and activating means is also provided to connect with the inertial body to tighten the safety belt when such abnormal changes in movement take place, thereby utilizing the energy of the rotating body for tightening of the belt.

Device for stretching a band forming part of a safety belt for a vehicle which takes up any slack of the band and stretches same towards the body of a user when there is an abnormal change in the speed of the vehicle comprising a rotatably mounted winding-up core for the band having a cam at one end located within a housing, an arm journalled in the housing and pivotable between a position in the path of movement of the cam and a position outside of said path. In the inactive condition of the device the free end of the arm is positioned in the path of movement of the cam and defines with a surface of the cam and the walls of the housing a closed expansible chamber. An ignitable gun powder charge is held in the free end of the arm and there is means for igniting same when there is an abnormal change in speed to cause expansion of the chamber, rotation of said cam and movement of said arm to outside of the path of movement of the cam, and rotation of the core in the winding-up direction.

A vehicle safety belt connector has a tonque-shaped male member attached to the safety belt and having a notch in an edge thereof and a female member attachable to the vehicle. The female member has a pair of flat parallel walls with locking of the male member to the female member being effected by means of a pair of pins transversely movable in opposed slots extending inwards from the edges of the flat walls so that each of the pins, in their inner positions, engages one of the notches. A manually operable cam member serves to operate the pins.

A receiving part for the coupling tongue of a vehicle safety belt with two spaced guides plates, a locking body for locking the tongue within the guide plate and being movable in a direction transverse to the guide plate, a lever-shaped lifting element located in the receiving part and cooperating with the locking body and being passed thereagainst by a spring. The ends of the spacer element assembly pivotably bear against the transmission element and the frame. The spacer element assembly comprises at least two parts which, actuated by the body of inertia, can perform toggle-joint-like pivoting movement relative to each other.
