Described are temporary privacy modules for non-passenger seating areas of aircraft cabin arrangements. The temporary privacy modules selectively enclose a portion of the non-passenger seating areas. The temporary privacy modules include a support and a privacy device. The privacy device is movable relative to the support between a stowed position and a deployed position. In the deployed position, the privacy device encloses the portion of the non-passenger seating area and defines a temporary privacy room within the non-passenger seating area.

An armrest assembly for a passenger seat includes a moveable arm including a proximal end and a distal end, a stowed configuration wherein the moveable arm is disposed adjacent and approximately parallel to a seatback of the passenger seat, and a deployed configuration wherein the moveable arm is approximately parallel to a seat pan of the passenger seat. The moveable arm may include a first portion and a second portion. The armrest assembly may include a first rotation axis such that the moveable arm pivots about the first rotation axis when moving between the stowed configuration and the deployed configuration. The armrest assembly may include a second rotation axis such that the second portion pivots about the second rotation axis relative to the first portion.

Described are passenger seats () having a seat bottom () connected to the seat frame () at a hinge () at an aft portion of the seat bottom (), and having a release mechanism () operably connected with the seat bottom () that, when actuated by a user, cause the seat bottom () to be released from a locked configuration to an unlocked configuration, whereby the seat bottom () is free to rotate downward, independent of a seat back (), about the hinge () to a tilted position in order to increase a range of available angles between the seat bottom () and seat back ().

A passenger seat back can include a rearward surface, a tray table () deployable away from the rearward surface of the seat back, and a shelf () independent from the tray table (). The shelf () can include a support surface () and at least one pivot () pivotally coupling the support surface () to the rearward surface of the seat back. For example, the support surface () may support a passenger's personal entertainment device or other item at a variety of viewing orientations and apart from the tray table ().

Secondary personal item support

A removable privacy panel assembly () for a passenger seat includes a center panel () with a width approximately equal to a width of the passenger seat and at least one side panel () with a connection to the center panel () where the at least one side panel extends approximately perpendicular to the center panel. The removable privacy panel assembly includes a deployed configuration where the removable privacy panel assembly is attached to the passenger seat and an uninstalled configuration where the removable privacy panel assembly is detached from the passenger seat. In the deployed configuration, the center panel is approximately aligned with a seatback () of the passenger seat and the at least one side panel () extends forward from the center panel () beyond a seating surface of the passenger seat. In the deployed configuration, the at least one side panel () is disposed adjacent to a headrest () of the passenger seat.

Removable modular privacy assembly

Described are passenger seat headrest assemblies and seats including headrest assemblies having a semi-rigid flap fixedly connected with an upper portion of the seat back or headrest assembly at a first location and movably connected with the seat back or headrest assembly at a receiving element separated from the first location. The distance of the movable connection from the first location can be adjusted to cause the flexible headrest assembly to flex outward from the seat to provide a greater or lesser degree of support for a passenger.

Flexible headrest assembly

Described is a passenger seat that includes a seat bottom assembly with a forward edge and a rear edge and a seat back assembly extending up from the rear edge of the seat bottom assembly. The seat back assembly may include a frame, a plurality of panels within a perimeter of the frame, and at least one attachment member configured to attach the plurality of panels to the frame. The seat bottom assembly may include a frame and a plurality of panels within a perimeter of the frame.

Seat support system

Described is a passenger seat that includes a seat bottom with a rear edge, the seat bottom including a bottom seating surface and a seat bottom adjustment mechanism where the seat bottom adjustment mechanism forms at least a portion of the bottom seating surface. The passenger seat also includes a seat back extending from the rear edge of the seat bottom, the seat back including a back seating surface and a seat back adjustment mechanism where the seat back adjustment mechanism forms at least a portion of the back seating surface. The adjustment mechanisms may each be configured to move between a deployed configuration and a retracted configuration. The seat bottom adjustment mechanism may be substantially flush with the bottom seating surface in the retracted configuration, and the seat back adjustment mechanism may be substantially flush with the back seating surface in the retracted configuration.

Adjustable lie-flat seat

Described is a passenger seat that includes a seat bottom assembly () with a forward edge and a rear edge and a seat back assembly () extending up from the rear edge of the seat bottom assembly (). The seat back assembly () may include a frame (), a plurality of panels (-) within a perimeter of the frame (), and at least one attachment member () configured to attach the plurality of panels (-) to the frame (). The seat bottom assembly () may include a frame () and a plurality of panels () within a perimeter of the frame ().

Described are adjustable support assemblies that include a base (), a support platform () elastically coupled to the base, and a slide bar () elastically coupled to a pair of tracks on the base, wherein the adjustable support assembly is positioned within a recess () of a passenger seat back () and at least partially surrounded by a shroud () so that only portions of the support platform and the slide bar extend through the shroud, wherein the adjustable support assembly is configured to securely hold portable electronic devices having a range of heights, widths, and thicknesses.
