A filter for filtering an electromagnetic wave and a filter design method are provided. The filter comprises a cavity with a first plate and a second plate, the first and second plates are opposite to each other. The first plate comprises a number of elements distributed on the side of the first plate facing the cavity, wherein a location of each element on the first plate is defined in a coordinate system. The second plate comprises a number of elements distributed on the side of the second plate facing the cavity according to the locations of the elements on the first plate, wherein each element is distributed on the second plate with an offset with respect to a corresponding element on the first plate.

Waveguide filters

An antenna device () and an antenna stack () comprising at least two antenna devices are disclosed. The antenna device comprises a leaky wave antenna structure comprising a waveguide structure () extending in a first plane along a first axis (), wherein the waveguide structure comprises two opposite end portions () along the first axis, and a first feed point and a second feed point arranged at opposite end portions of the waveguide structure. The antenna device further comprises a dispersive lens structure () having an edge extending along the waveguide structure in the first plane, the dispersive lens structure having an extension along a second axis () extending in the first plane in a second direction perpendicular to the first axis. The waveguide structure further comprises a plurality of discontinuities along an interface between the waveguide structure and the dispersive lens structure for leaking electromagnetic energy into dispersive lens structure.

Leaky wave antenna

The present disclosure relates to a metasurface arrangement including a first metasurface and a second metasurface which run mutually parallel and face each other. Each metasurface includes a corresponding periodic or quasi-periodic structure formed in a respective pattern. The first metasurface is formed in a dielectric material structure and the second metasurface is formed in either a dielectric material structure or in an electrically conducting structure. The periodic or quasi-periodic structure on the first metasurface is configured to yield a first response to an incident electromagnetic wave between the two metasurfaces, and the periodic or quasi-periodic structure on the second metasurface is configured to yield a second response to the incident electromagnetic wave between the two metasurfaces that is equivalent to the first response, thereby rendering the two metasurfaces mutually electromagnetically symmetric.

Metasurface arrangement

The embodiments herein relate to a first waveguide comprising a first flange () surrounding an end opening () of the first waveguide (). The first flange () comprises at least two holes () which are periodically distributed around the end opening (). The first waveguide () is arranged to be connected to a second waveguide () by connecting the first flange () to a second flange () of the second waveguide () such that the end opening () of the first waveguide () faces an end opening () of the second waveguide () and such that the holes () in the first flange () are at least partly glide symmetrically positioned with respect to holes () which are periodically distributed around the end opening () of the second flange (b).
