The present disclosure relates to a cylinder head configured to mount to a combustion cylinder of an internal combustion engine, ICE, the cylinder head including a cylinder head surface configured to face an internal combustion chamber of the combustion cylinder, a cavity including an inner cavity surface and a cavity side wall, the cavity extending from the cylinder head surface, along the cavity side wall, to the inner cavity surface in a direction away from the cylinder head surface, and an opening arranged in the inner cavity surface, the opening being configured to be provided with a fuel injector for feeding gaseous fuel into the combustion chamber, wherein the cavity side wall includes a surface discontinuity portion, the surface discontinuity portion being arranged at a distance from the inner cavity surface.

Cylinder head

An engine system for a vehicle is provided. The engine system includes a first and a second turbine arrangement arranged in parallel with each other. A rotational speed of a first turbo arrangement is controlled in response to a distance between a first compressor map position and a surge line of a compressor map being below a predetermined threshold distance.

There is provided an exhaust-gas aftertreatment arrangement for an internal combustion engine comprising a first catalytic converter, a second catalytic converter arranged in parallel with the first catalytic converter, the first and second catalytic converters being arranged to receive exhaust gas from an engine, a connection pipe fluidly connecting an outlet of the second catalytic converter with an inlet of the first catalytic converter, thereby allowing a flow of exhaust gas through the connection pipe, and an outlet valve arranged in the outlet of the second catalytic converter and downstream of the location of the connection pipe, wherein the outlet valve is configured to control a flow of exhaust gas through the second catalytic converter. There is also provided a method for controlling an exhaust-gas aftertreatment arrangement.

Dual catalytic converter exhaust-gas aftertreatment arrangement

The present disclosure relates to a twin scroll turbocharger device for an internal combustion engine having at least one combustion chamber. The turbocharger device comprises a turbine portion comprising a turbine wheel; a first turbine scroll and a second turbine scroll; and a first turbine scroll valve for allowing control of a flow of exhaust gas through the first turbine scroll. The turbocharger device also comprises a compressor portion comprising a compressor inlet; a compressor outlet; and a compressor wheel for pressurizing air received from the compressor inlet and providing pressurized air to the at least one combustion chamber via the compressor outlet. The turbocharger device further comprises a container for storing pressurized gas; a container conduit fluid flow connecting the container and the turbine portion for controllably providing pressurized air from the container to a first container inlet located between the first turbine scroll valve and the turbine wheel.
