A medicament delivery device includes a generally elongated tubular housing having opposite proximal and distal parts; a needle shield sleeve slidably and coaxially arranged inside the housing with a proximal part of the sleeve protruding a distance outside the proximal part of the housing; a syringe carrier mechanism having a syringe carrier slidably and coaxially arranged within the needle shield sleeve, a syringe having a stopper, a medicament, and a needle, the syringe being coaxially arranged within the syringe carrier; and a holding member connected to the syringe carrier; a first activator member an a second activator member; a drive mechanism adapted to accumulate a drive force for moving the syringe carrier mechanism in a first step and a second step. The second activator member is arranged within an information device for producing audible, visual, and/or tactile feedback to a user about a completed injection.

Medicament delivery device

A medicament delivery device is disclosed having a housing, an actuation mechanism capable of delivering doses of medicament from a medicament container and arranged with a delivery member, a shield, a guard movable within the housing, wherein the guard is operably connected to the actuation mechanism. A protective cap is releasably arranged on the housing and having a shield remover. A blocking element on the guard is movable between a blocking position and a release position and has an engagement surface to engage a proximal area of the housing. The blocking element engages with a surface of the shield remover to retain the blocking element in the blocking position. The engagement surface causes a blocking of the guard from movement and removal of the protective cap enables a movement of the blocking element to a release position when the engagement surface engages the proximal area allowing the member guard to move.

The present disclosure relates to a medicament delivery device including a housing having a proximal end and a distal end; a medicament container positioned in the housing and having a medicament delivery member shield; a medicament delivery mechanism associated with the medicament container; an activation member operably connected to the medicament delivery mechanism and longitudinally movable in relation to the housing from an extended position to a retracted position to activate the medicament delivery mechanism; and a removable cap assembly comprising a deshielder, an inner tubular integrity lock member having a resilient structure configured to interact with both a first engaging structure of the activation member and a second engaging structure of the housing for preventing the activation member from moving into the retracted position.

The present disclosure relates to a administration assembly for a medicament delivery device, comprising: an elongated tubular delivery member cover (), a cartridge holder () configured to be received by the delivery member cover () and configured to accommodate a medicament cartridge (), the cartridge holder () having a radially flexible and radially inwards extending cartridge blocking protrusion () configured to prevent the medicament cartridge () from moving proximally until being subjected to a proximally directed force larger than a threshold value, a needle assembly () comprising a double-edged needle having a proximally extending needle portion () and a distally extending needle portion (), wherein the needle assembly () is configured to be assembled with the cartridge holder () so that the distally extending needle portion () extends into the cartridge holder (), and an administration mechanism including a plunger rod () configured to be proximally biased, wherein the delivery member cover () is configured to be linearly displaced in the distal direction relative to the cartridge holder (), and wherein the delivery member cover () is configured to activate the administration mechanism when moved in the distal direction, causing the administration mechanism to move the cartridge holder () in the proximal direction and to subsequently move the plunger rod () in the proximal direction inside the cartridge holder () with a force larger than the threshold value.

Administration assembly for a medicament delivery device

Injection device comprising a housing having an insertion opening at its distal end, a syringe carrier arranged within said housing, an actuation sleeve that is slidably arranged in the housing, first and second energy accumulating members, a plunger holder that is operationally associated with the first energy accumulating member and the syringe carrier, and a plunger rod that is slidably arranged in relation to plunger holder and to the syringe carrier, the plunger rod being operationally associated with the second energy accumulating member.

The present invention relates to a needle shield assembly for a syringe (), comprising an inner needle shield () which is flexible and designed to enclose a major part of a hollow injection needle () of said syringe; an outer needle shield () which is rigid and designed to enclose a major part of said inner needle shield (), which outer needle shield () is arranged with a number of passages () for allowing sterilizing agents to reach said injection needle () during a sterilization process. The invention is characterised in that said needle shield assembly further comprises a cover element () arranged adjacent said passages () such as to prevent the interior of said injection needle () from being exposed to oxygen via said passages () of said outer needle shield () after said sterilization process.

Protective assembly for a syringe

An administration mechanism for a medicament delivery device is disclosed having a linearly displaceable medicament delivery member cover, an actuator sleeve, an actuator, wherein the medicament delivery member cover is configured to axially displace the actuator sleeve from an initial position to a distally displaced position thereby displacing the actuator sleeve relative to the actuator, a rotator having a guide structure, a plunger holder, and a plunger rod that is proximally biased. The actuator can engage with the plunger holder in the initial position of the actuator sleeve to prevent the plunger holder from proximal displacement relative to the actuator. The actuator can be released from engagement with the plunger holder by displacement of the actuator sleeve towards the distally displaced position to enable proximal displacement of the plunger holder, the plunger rod and the rotator relative to the actuator. The actuator can rotate the rotator relative to the plunger holder, releasing the plunger rod from the plunger holder.
