A first thrust bearing includes a first electromagnet and a first member. A second thrust bearing includes a second electromagnet and a second member. A magnetic force generated by the first electromagnet and the second electromagnet, and dynamic gas pressure generated by the first member and the second member due to rotation of a rotating shaft support an axial load of the rotating shaft.

Bearing structure

A gas turbine rotor includes a first rotor and a second rotor. The first rotor includes a compressor impeller, a turbine wheel, and a shaft. The turbine wheel has a common rotational axis with the compressor impeller. The shaft connects the compressor impeller to the turbine wheel. The second rotor is an electric generator rotor and defines an inner hollow space. The shaft includes an insertable portion disposed in the inner hollow space of the second rotor.

Gas turbine rotor and gas turbine generator

A disclosed micro gas turbine system includes a micro gas turbine apparatus and an extracting cycle apparatus. The micro gas turbine apparatus includes a first compressor, a burner, and a first turbine. The first turbine expands a combustion gas generated by the burner. The extracting cycle apparatus includes a second compressor and a second turbine. The second compressor receives a flow of extracted air that is generated by extracting a part of a working fluid discharged from the first compressor. The second turbine expands the working fluid discharged from the second compressor. The working fluid discharged from the second turbine cools down the first turbine.

Micro gas turbine system

A thermal electric power generator includes an evaporator, an expander, an electric generator, a condenser, and a pump. A working fluid used in the thermal electric power generator is an organic working fluid. The evaporator includes a heat exchanger, a bypass channel, and a flow rate adjustment mechanism. The bypass channel allows a heat medium to bypass the heat exchanger. The flow rate adjustment mechanism adjusts a flow rate of the heat medium to be supplied to the heat exchanger and a flow rate of the heat medium to be supplied to the bypass channel.

Thermal electric power generator

A turbine nozzle according to the disclosure is a turbine nozzle that is used in a radial turbine and includes a ring-shaped hub, a plurality of nozzle vanes that are arranged at equal angular intervals on the hub, and a flow path that is formed between the nozzle vanes. The flow path includes a throat that has a smallest flow path cross-sectional area with respect to a flow direction of working fluid. On a downstream side of the throat with respect to the flow direction, the flow path cross-sectional area increases. Heights of the nozzle vanes on the downstream side of the throat with respect to the flow direction are greater than heights of the nozzle vanes in the throat and gradually increase from an upstream side toward the downstream side with respect to the flow direction.

Turbine nozzle and radial turbine including the same

An evaporator which heats working fluid with high-temperature fluid to evaporate the working fluid includes: a working fluid channel arranged in a flow direction of the high temperature fluid and through which the working fluid flows; and a temperature sensor provided for the working fluid channel. A part of the working fluid channel is exposed to outside of a housing of the evaporator, and the temperature sensor is provided in the part of the working fluid channel exposed to the outside of the housing of the evaporator in a region other than an inlet of the working fluid channel into which the working fluid flows from the outside of the evaporator and other than an outlet of the working fluid channel through which the working fluid flows out of the evaporator. The output value of the temperature sensor is used to adjust the temperature of the working fluid.

Evaporator, rankine cycle apparatus, and combined heat and power system

A Rankine cycle apparatus includes a pump, an evaporator, an expander, a condenser, and an internal heat exchanger. The internal heat exchanger allows heat exchange to take place between a working fluid discharged from the expander and a working fluid discharged from the pump. A temperature of the working fluid at an inlet of the expander is set so that a temperature of the working fluid at an outlet of the expander be higher than a saturation temperature on a high-pressure side of the cycle.

Rankine cycle apparatus, combined heat and power system, and rankine cycle apparatus operation method

An air cooling unit is an air cooling unit used in a Rankine cycle system and includes an expander and a condenser. The expander recovers energy from a working fluid by expanding the working fluid. The condenser cools the working fluid using air. The air cooling unit includes a heat-transfer reducer that reduces heat transfer between the expander and an air path.

Air cooling unit

An evaporator includes an introducing portion that introduces a heat source gas from a heat source gas pipe, a heat source gas passage through which the heat source gas introduced from the introducing portion flows, a heating portion that is disposed in the heat source gas passage and at which a working fluid is heated by the heat source gas, an increasing portion at which a cross-sectional area of the heat source gas passage gradually increases from an upstream side towards a downstream side in the heat source gas passage, and a flow regulating plate that is disposed on an upstream side from the heating portion in the heat source gas passage and that has a plurality of holes which allow the heat source gas to pass through the plurality of holes.

Evaporator and rankine cycle system

A combined heat and power system according the present disclosure includes a Rankine cycle apparatus including an evaporator that heats a working fluid by heat exchange between the working fluid and a heat source medium, an expansion machine that converts expansion power of the working fluid into rotational power, and a condenser that cools the working fluid by heat exchange between the working fluid and a heat medium, and a thermal circuit for using the heat medium heated by the condenser. An expansion volume ratio of the expansion machine is equal to or less than an expansion ratio in a theoretical Rankine cycle determined based on a state of a temperature and a pressure of the working fluid at a discharge port of the expansion machine and a state of a temperature and a pressure of the working fluid at a suction port of the expansion machine.

A thermal power generation apparatus includes a control circuit that selects a single operation mode from among a plurality of modes including a normal mode and a specific mode on the basis of a voltage in a commercial system. The normal mode is an operation mode in which alternating-current power output from an inverter is adjusted so that a direct-current voltage in a direct-current power line follows a target voltage. The specific mode is an operation mode in which direct-current power absorbed by an electric power absorber and/or the amount of heat per unit time supplied to a heat engine are/is adjusted so that the direct-current voltage follows the target voltage.

Thermal power generation apparatus and thermal power generation system

An exhaust heat recovery apparatus includes an exhaust heat passage through which a first heat medium holding exhaust heat flows; a second heat medium passage through which the second heat medium, of which temperature is lower than that of the first heat medium, flows; a Rankine cycle which includes a pump, an evaporator, an expander, and a condenser and causes heat exchange at the evaporator between the first heat medium flowing through the exhaust heat passage and a working fluid, so that the working fluid is evaporated, the evaporated working fluid expands at the expander, and power is generated; and an exhaust heat recovery heat exchanger which causes heat exchange between the first heat medium flowing through the exhaust heat passage and the second heat medium flowing through the second heat medium passage, so that the second heat medium is heated and exhaust heat of the first heat medium is recovered.

Exhaust heat recovery apparatus, heating system, steam boiler, and deodorization system

A CHP system includes a combustor as a heat source, a Rankine cycle apparatus, a second heat exchanger, and a thermal fluid flow path. The Rankine cycle apparatus includes, as an evaporator, a first heat exchanger that absorbs thermal energy from combustion gas (thermal fluid). The second heat exchanger absorbs thermal energy from the combustion gas and transfers the thermal energy to a heat medium. The first heat exchanger and the second heat exchanger are disposed in the thermal fluid flow path. The thermal fluid flow path includes a first flow path that allows the combustion gas to reach the first heat exchanger directly from the combustor and a second flow path that allows the combustion gas to reach the second heat exchanger directly from the combustor.

Combined heat and power system

A cogenerating system includes a Rankine cycle, a high-temperature heat transfer medium circuit, a low-temperature heat transfer medium circuit, a bypass channel, a heat exchanger, and a flow rate adjustment mechanism. The high-temperature heat transfer medium circuit is configured such that an evaporator is supplied with a high-temperature heat transfer medium by a high-temperature heat transfer medium heat exchanger. The low-temperature heat transfer medium circuit is configured such that a condenser is supplied with a low-temperature heat transfer medium by a low-temperature heat transfer medium heat exchanger. The flow rate adjustment mechanism includes at least a flow rate limiter that limits the flow rate of the high-temperature heat transfer medium to be supplied to the evaporator, and adjusts a ratio of the flow rate of the high-temperature heat transfer medium flowing through the bypass channel to the flow rate of the high-temperature heat transfer medium flowing through the evaporator.

Cogenerating system

An evaporator which heats working fluid with high-temperature fluid to evaporate the working fluid includes: a working fluid channel which is arranged in a flow direction of the high temperature fluid and through which the working fluid flows; and a temperature sensor which is provided for the working fluid channel. A part of the working fluid channel is exposed to outside of a housing of the evaporator, and the temperature sensor is provided in the part of the working fluid channel exposed to the outside of the housing of the evaporator in a region other than an inlet of the working fluid channel into which the working fluid flows from the outside of the evaporator and other than an outlet of the working fluid channel through which the working fluid flows out of the evaporator. The output value of the temperature sensor is used to adjust the temperature of the working fluid in the evaporator.
