The power supply controller controls the supply of electric power from a first power supply source to a predetermined facility having a first power supply destination and a second power supply destination, and also controls the supply of electric power to the predetermined facility from the second power supply source that is powered by a battery installed in a plurality of electric vehicles parked in a parking lot attached to the predetermined facility. The power supply controller prioritizes the first power supply source over the second power supply source when there is an abnormality in the first power supply source.

Power supply controller

A server includes a communication unit (first acquisition unit) that acquires information about a status of use of an EVSE by a user (first user) who uses the EVSE (power control device) in a normal state. Further, the server includes a processor (controller) that performs, based on the information about the status of use, control for lending the EVSE to a user (second user) different from the foregoing user in a time period in which the foregoing user does not use the EVSE.

Server, system, and management method

A server manages power adjustment resources electrically connected to a power network. The power adjustment resources include power equipment installed in a facility and configured to supply power from a vehicle to the power network and charge power from the power network to the vehicle. When reservation information for using the facility is received from a user, the server predicts a power supply-demand balance in the power network on a reserved date and time of use of the facility. When a DR for adjusting the power supply-demand balance is predicted to be performed on the reserved date and time of use, the server prepares a use plan for the facility so as to include the vehicle participating in the DR using the power equipment. The server gives an incentive to the user when the user accepts the use plan.

A fuel cell vehicle according to the present disclosure includes: a fuel cell; a multiphase converter configured to control an output current of the fuel cell; a current sensor provided in each phase of the multiphase converter; an electric load configured to receive power supplied from the fuel cell; and a control unit. The control unit performs, when it detects an excess or a deficiency of electric energy of the electric load, replacement of phases driven by the multiphase converter while the output current of the fuel cell is kept constant, and determines, when the excess or the deficiency of the electric energy of the electric load is eliminated after the replacement of the phases, that an offset failure has occurred in the current sensor provided in the phase that has been driven before the replacement.

Fuel cell vehicle and method for controlling the same

A vehicle is equipped with an electric storage device, a drive motor, an auxiliary that can be driven by a regenerative electric power, and a control unit. The control unit performs a non-chargeable control for causing the auxiliary to consume the regenerative electric power when the electric storage device is in a non-chargeable state, and performs a specific maneuver control for causing the auxiliary to consume the regenerative electric power even when the electric storage device is in a chargeable state in the case where an operational maneuver for making a change to an operation mode in which a larger amount of the regenerative electric power is generated is performed with the regenerative electric power generated.

Vehicle and method of controlling vehicle

A power source device for a vehicle may include: a power source; a DC outlet which may feed power from the power source to an external device external to the vehicle; a service receptacle which may be provided, within a vehicle interior, separately from the DC outlet; an operator by which a user may request power feed from the DC outlet to the external device; and a vehicle ECU which may control power supply from the power source to the DC outlet and the service receptacle. When the vehicle ECU receives, from the operator, an input requesting the power feed to the external device, the vehicle ECU may stop the power supply to the service receptacle and cause the DC outlet to perform the power supply. With the configuration described above, the possibility of failure to turn off an in-vehicle electric apparatus is reduced.

Power source device for vehicle

A charging and discharging system includes a vehicle, a cable, and a charging and discharging device. The vehicle includes an electric storage device, a first fuse, and an inlet. The cable includes a connector, a second fuse, and a power line. The charging and discharging device is configured to convert AC power supplied from a commercial AC power source into DC power and to supply the DC power to the electric storage device via the cable in a charging mode. The charging and discharging device is configured to convert DC power supplied from the electric storage device via the cable into AC power and to supply the AC power to a load in a discharging mode. The first fuse is configured to be melted and cut earlier than the second fuse when the power line causes a short circuit in the discharging mode.

A detector may be a device for detecting insulation decrease of an electric system included in a vehicle. An external terminal may be configured to be connectable with a terminal of a power supply cable connected to a power supply device. A power supply relay, which may be provided between the external terminal and a power line, may be controlled by a vehicle ECU to be in a closed state during external power supply from the electrically powered vehicle to the power supply device. When the insulation decrease of the electric system is detected by the detector, the vehicle ECU may control the power supply relay to come into an open state.

A fuel cell system suppresses the deterioration of an electrolyte membrane of a fuel cell. The fuel cell system comprises: a temperature rise speed calculation unit for calculating a target temperature rise speed of the fuel cell using a temperature of the fuel cell and a water content of the fuel cell; and a drive control unit for controlling a drive of the cooling water pump using the temperature rise speed of the fuel cell and the target temperature rise speed calculated by the temperature rise speed calculation unit. The drive control unit controls the drive of the cooling water pump such that a circulation amount of the cooling water is decreased when the temperature rise speed of the fuel cell is below the target temperature rise speed and controls the drive of the cooling water pump such that the circulation amount of the cooling water is increased when the temperature rise speed of the fuel cell is equal to or greater than the target temperature rise speed.

Fuel cell system

A moving body, such as a vehicle, having one or more fuel cells mounted thereon. The fuel cells, which power the moving body, generate electricity and release water as a by-product. Accordingly, the moving body includes a water discharge module that releases water produced by the fuel cells to the atmosphere using a water outlet. The water outlet may be located in a front section of the moving body. The moving body may further include a water tank that temporarily stores water before releasing the water to the atmosphere.

A fuel cell system includes a fuel cell stack and a fuel gas piping system which supplies a fuel gas to the fuel cell stack, and is capable of, at starting below a freezing point, selectively performing a rapid warm-up operation to generate electric power at an air stoichiometric ratio lower than that at starting at ordinary temperature, while revolving a circulating pump, and the fuel cell system further includes a clogging determination unit which determines whether or not clogging arises from freezing in a fuel gas passage of the fuel cell stack, or the fuel gas piping system, wherein when the clogging arises, the circulating pump is stopped in the rapid warm-up operation, and termination conditions of the rapid warm-up operation are changed in accordance with a clogging volume.

Fuel cell system and control method at starting in the fuel cell system

A fuel cell system that is capable of suppressing temperature change of the fuel cell under a low temperature environment after the operation has stopped, suppressing freezing due to condensation, and ensuring a preferable start thereafter. The fuel cell system comprises: a fuel cell that generates electric power through an electrochemical reaction between air and a hydrogen gas; a gas supply section that supplies air and the hydrogen gas to an air supply path, a fuel supply path and a hydrogen circulation path which are connected to the fuel cell by a compressor and a hydrogen pump; a cooling section that cools the fuel cell by making a cooling path connected to the fuel cell to circulate by a pump the cooling water that is cooled by a radiator; and a control section.

Water contained in exhaust gas discharged from a fuel cell stack is separated by a gas-liquid separator and is accumulated in a recovery tank. The procedure of the invention sets a release amount of water and selects one or multiple positions for water release, based on the driving conditions including the vehicle speed and the acceleration, the turning state, activation or non-activation of skid reduction control, the distance from any object detected by clearance sonars, a distance from a subsequent vehicle measured by an extremely high frequency radar, and the presence of raindrops detected by a raindrop detection sensor, and releases the water accumulated in the recovery tank from water outlets at the selected one or multiple positions among water outlets at multiple different locations. This arrangement ensures adequate release of the water produced by the fuel cell stack to the atmosphere.
