An outer-mirror tilting apparatus includes a holder base that fixes a main body of an outer mirror, a housing that is fitted to a bearing unit of the holder base, the housing having a pivot shaft supporting the holder base in a tiltable manner, a rod driving mechanism that includes a pair of driving rods and a driving unit, and a rod detecting mechanism that includes a pair of detecting rods and a detector.

Outer mirror tilting apparatus

A root portion of the terminal connecting section of one of the male terminals that projects outward is provided with a fitting section to be fitted into a female holder. The fitting section of the male holder is fitted into the insertion hole of the female holder.

Connector

A stopper to be contacted with a moving rod before it is located at the most receded position such that the elastic engagement between a female screw and an elastic engaging nail is in the state capable of clutch slipping is provided between a housing and the moving rod. A fall-off preventing unit to be contacted with the moving rod at the time the moving rod is located at the most advanced position is provided for preventing fall-off of the moving rod from the other member between the moving rod and another member.

Remote control mirror apparatus for automobile

A pivot portion is press-fitted to the inside hollow portion of a pivot receiver, thereby the pivot receiver wraps the pivot portion from outside. A spring member is also fitted to the outside on one end side of the pivot receiver, thereby the pivot receiver fastens the pivot portion from outside. As a result, the outer face of the pivot portion and the inner face of the hollow portion of the pivot receiver are abutted on each other securely all the time, thereby the mirror unit is held always stably with respect to the holding member. As a result, the mirror face can be held reliably at a predetermined tilted position all the time.

Vehicle mirror device

A power unit is attached on one end of a stay as an angle adjustment mechanism, with a mirror holder that has a configuration of housing mounted on the power unit to be capable of tilting, while the mirror holder holds the mirror body and the power unit is housed in a chamber defined by the mirror body and the mirror holder, so that the mirror body and the mirror holder are tilted with respect to the stay and the power unit by the power unit, thereby adjusting the angle. Thus a mirror housing, that contains the power unit, of the prior art located on the fixed side together with the power unit and the stay is eliminated and, instead, the mirror holder having a configuration of housing is installed together with the mirror body on the tilting side. As a consequence, when the mirror body is tilted with respect to the power unit and the stay, the mirror holder is also tilted along with the mirror body with respect to the power unit and the stay, and therefore such a problem does not occur as the edge of the mirror body comes inside the opening edge of the mirror housing on the fixed side as in the case of the prior art. As a result, it is made possible to secure a wide field of view without the possibility of causing an obstacle to the field of view when adjusting the angle of the mirror body.

Remote-controlled mirror apparatus for vehicles

To house drive components in a single drive section casing and shorten a link member, a mirror (57a) is held by a mirror casing (56). A right-and-left motor (61) and an up-and-down motor (62) are housed within a drive section casing (55). If the motors (61, 62) are driven, a tilting mechanism unit tilts the mirror (57a). A wiper motor (63) is housed within the drive section casing (55). A wiper drive transfer unit for transferring rotation of the wiper motor (63) is housed within the drive section casing (55). Furthermore, a link mechanism section (D) and a rotary shaft section (E) for transferring output of the wiper drive transfer unit to reciprocal rotary motion are housed in the mirror casing (56). By the reciprocal rotary motion converted by the link mechanism section (D) and rotary shaft section (E), a wiper main body wipes the surface of the mirror.

Wiper for a vehicular mirror

A car rearview mirror comprises a mirror unit having a hemispheric convex surface formed thereon and a central support formed integrally therewith on the opposite side to the hemispheric convex surface to receive a leaf or wire spring at the center of the latter, and a mirror housing having a hemispheric concave surface formed thereon and two end supports formed integrally therewith to retain the spring at the opposite ends, respectively, of the latter. The hemispheric convex surface of the mirror unit is fitted to the hemispheric convex surface of the mirror housing in such a manner that the mirror unit can be pivoted in relation to the mirror housing. To assemble the rearview mirror, the spring is bowed and supported at the center thereof on the central support and at the opposite ends thereof on the two end supports. Namely, the car rearview mirror can have a reduced number of parts.

Lead terminals of a plurality of motors disposed inside a drive unit casing are lead out through a plurality of elongated through-holes formed in the casing and connected to a plurality of power-supply sheathed wires by connecting terminals. A plurality of elongated concavities is formed adjoining to the corresponding through-holes on the outer surface of the casing. With the connecting terminals connected to the plurality of sheathed wires, the plurality of lead terminals extended from the motor are bent through a nearly right angle at the open ends of the through-holes along the outer surface of the casing and the connecting terminals are forcibly fitted on the side walls of the elongated concavities. Therefore, the electrical connection between the lead terminals extended from the plurality of motors and the plurality of power-supply sheathed wires needs no soldering. The sheathed wires can be very easily connected to the lead terminals of the motors and they can not be easily disconnected from the lead terminals.

Mirror drive unit

Wires which are introduced from an operation rod into a mirror housing to adjust the swinging of a mirror are tensioned to a certain extent by a wire slack preventing member, which is located in the mirror housing, to precisely act the mirror without being loosened. Tubes through which the wires are inserted are positionally defined in a base and a fixed shaft to precisely guide the wires.
