Provided is an antenna device including a substrate, a metal chassis disposed adjacent a rear surface of the substrate, multiple patch antenna elements formed in an array on a front surface of the substrate, feeding lines formed on the front surface of the substrate and through which electricity is fed to the multiple patch antenna elements, and a ground conductor formed on the rear surface of the substrate in a portion opposite the feeding lines.

A mobile communication base station antenna has a plurality of polarization diversity antenna blocks, each of the polarization diversity antenna blocks including a plurality of polarization diversity antenna elements, each of the polarization diversity antenna elements including antenna elements that are disposed to be orthogonal to each other. The polarization diversity antenna elements of one of the polarization diversity antenna blocks are interposed between the polarization diversity antenna elements of another one of the polarization diversity antenna blocks, and tilt angles in the vertical plane of the respective polarization diversity antenna blocks are different from each other.

Mobile communication base station antenna

A mobile communication base station antenna has a first array antenna and a second array antenna. Antenna elements of the first and second array antennas are classified into the first, second and third groups G, Gand G. A first feeding port is connected to the antenna elements in the odd number groups (the first group Gand the third group G) of the first array antenna and the antenna elements in the even number group of the second array antenna. On the other hand, a second feeding port is connected to the antenna elements in the even number group (the second group G) of the first array antenna and the antenna elements in the odd number groups (the first group Gand the third group G) of the second array antenna.
