An action information processing device includes: a biological sensor which acquires biological information; a motion sensor which acquires action information including a first action indicating a predetermined action and a second action executed before the start of the first action; an information acquisition unit which acquires the biological information and the action information; a mental information processing unit which estimates mental state information from the biological information; an action decision unit which calculates an action of a subject from the action information and decides whether the first action is success or failure, based on a predetermined decision condition; and an action advice output information unit which outputs action advice information about the second action, based on the mental state information about the second action and a result of the decision about the first action by the action decision unit.

A constant-modulus alloy, which has a low saturation magnetic flux density to provide weakly magnetic properties, a high Young's modulus, a low temperature coefficient of Young's modulus, and high hardness, is provided. A hairspring, a mechanical driving apparatus and a watch and clock, in which the alloy is used, are provided. The alloy consists of Co, Ni, Cr, Mo. and Fe. The alloy is healed and cooled before being subjected to repeated wiredrawing and intermediate annealing, forming a wire with a fiber structure having a &#x3c;111&#x3e; fiber axis. The wire is then cold rolled into a sheet and heated to obtain optimal magnetic insensitivity and hardness.

A voice output system and method provide a voice of high quality while enabling coexistence with other wireless transmission systems. Compression-encoded voice data accompanying a video displayed on a video display surface is acquired at the side opposed to the video display surface. The voice data is wirelessly transmitted. At least at the video display surface side, the wirelessly transmitted voice data transmitted is received and expanded. Then, the voice based on the acquired expanded voice data is output.

Voice output system and method

In addition to output the mid-high range audio sound from the speakers of the main unit, the present invention can output the low range audio sound according to the audio signal transmitted from the main unit through the DC power supply transmission cable from the sub-woofer unit of the AC adapter. Accordingly, the present invention can provide a richly expressive acoustic space without enlarging the size of the main unit.

Acoustic system

A battery pack is provided. For example, the battery pack includes a box-shaped or plate-shaped battery pack. The battery pack has a hard outer jacket member, a box-shaped or plate-shaped battery element, a cover, and a circuit board. The hard outer jacket member has a first opening and a second opening formed at both ends. The box-shaped or plate-shaped battery element is contained in the outer jacket member and has electrode terminals. The cover is molded from resin and is fitted to the first opening. The circuit board is connected to the electrode terminal leads and contained in the cover. At least the electrode terminal leads extends from the first opening. The cover has concave portions on both ends of one longer side. The outer jacket member has cut portions that expose at least the concave portions of the cover. At least a longer side of the cover and the outer jacket member are heat-adhered.

Battery pack

A timepiece having a movement, a substantially cylindrical case that houses the movement, a bezel that holds the outside edge part of a crystal and is fastened to the case, and a back cover that is fastened to the opposite side of the case as the side to which the bezel is disposed. The case has a plurality of movement fastening units for fastening the movement by means of screws, a plurality of bezel fastening units for fastening the bezel by means of screws, and a plurality of back cover fastening units for fastening the back cover by means of screws. The screws disposed to the movement fastening units, the bezel fastening units, and the back cover fastening units are substantially aligned with the axial direction of the case. The movement fastening units, the bezel fastening units, and the back cover fastening units are respectively disposed at different positions in the circumferential direction of the case, and are disposed to a fastener reference position substantially similar in shape to the shape of the outside of the movement facing the case.

A spring device having an inside-end wheel that moves in conjunction with the inside end of a mainspring; an outside-end wheel that moves in conjunction with the outside end of the mainspring; a torque return unit that transfers part of the output torque of the mainspring from one to the other of the inside-end wheel and outside-end wheel; a duration time indicating unit that operates in conjunction with both the inside-end wheel and outside-end wheel and indicates the number of winds in the mainspring; and a torque transfer clutch unit that disengages torque transfer between the inside-end wheel and outside-end wheel by means of the torque return unit when the mainspring unwinds and the duration time indicating unit indicates a predetermined reference number of winds.

It is intended to provide a governor that is small, does not produce wear particles or noise, is low cost, is not affected by differences in attitude, is not affected by magnetism, and has outstanding durability. The governor has a rotor that rotates using energy supplied from an energy storage means through a power transfer means, a wing having wing surfaces perpendicular to the rotational axis of the rotor, and disposed movably to an outside circumference side radially to the rotor by means of centrifugal force produced by rotor rotation, a zigzag spring disposed between the rotor and wing for pulling the wing to the inside circumference side radially to the rotor, and an opposing member disposed to the outside circumference of the rotor and having an opposing surface located opposite and separated a predetermined gap from the wing surface when the wing moves to the outside circumference side radially to the rotor.

Governor and a power generating device and an apparatus using the governor

A valve device has a pressure chamber, which is connected to a liquid inlet and a liquid outlet and retains liquid, and a pressure regulator decreasing the pressure in the pressure chamber to a predetermined level. The pressure regulator has a pressure receiving member. When the pressure in the pressure chamber becomes lower than the predetermined level, the pressure receiving member is elastically deformed in an inward direction of the pressure chamber. The pressure regulator generates actuation force greater than the pressing force produced by the elastic deformation of the pressure receiving member. The pressure regulator is configured to be opened by the actuation force. When the pressure regulator is open, a fluid supply from the liquid inlet to the pressure chamber is permitted. It is thus possible to minimize the valve device.

A time correction system has a timepiece with pointers for displaying the time, and a correction instruction device. The correction instruction device has a timing section for timing reference time data, a time input section for inputting pointed time data corresponding to the time indicated by the pointers, a comparison section for comparing the reference time data and the pointed time data, and a communication section for outputting a correction instruction signal based on the results of this comparison to the pointer type timepiece. The pointer type timepiece has an external signal detection circuit for receiving the correction instruction signal, a drive control section for controlling the driving of the pointers, and a time correction control circuit for matching the readings of the pointers with the reference time data based on the received correction instruction signal.

A starter which applies a mechanical rotating force to a rotor of an electromagnetic converter, such as a power generator, for startup of the rotor.
