A four-wheel drive electric vehicle control device is provided for a four-wheel drive electric vehicle that has a motor/generator as a drive source, and an electronically controlled coupling provided on the drive power transmission path leading from the drive source to the front and rear wheels. The four-wheel drive hybrid vehicle has a 4WD control unit that outputs to the electronically controlled coupling a transmission torque command value to bring about the four-wheel drive state, in accordance with the vehicle state. The 4WD control unit has a regenerative control intervention-coordinating controller that, when regenerative control by the motor/generator has intervened during the four-wheel drive state, brings the transmission torque of the electronically controlled coupling to zero before initiating regenerative control.

Four-wheel drive electric vehicle control device

A device for controlling the distribution of drive force includes a driven wheel drive force distribution reference command value calculator configured to determine a driven-wheel-oriented drive force distribution reference command value from the estimated value of the drive force sent to the drive wheels and a drive force reference distribution ratio, and a driven wheel drive force distribution command value calculator configured to determine a driven-wheel-oriented drive force distribution command value by correcting the driven wheel drive force distribution reference command value by a correction amount that differs between the electric motor operating mode and the electric motor non-operating mode, and to make the correction amount for the electric motor operating mode greater than the correction amount for the electric motor non-operating mode.

Device for controlling distribution force in a four-wheel drive vehicle

A drive force transmission device includes a first direction one-way clutch, a second direction one-way clutch, a second direction rotation transmission clutch, a cam mechanism and a regulating member. The first direction one-way clutch and the second direction one-way clutch are arranged to connect first and second force transmission paths between an input shaft and an output shaft to transmit rotation in first and second rotational directions, respectively. The second direction rotation transmission clutch is arranged to connect the second direction one-way clutch with the output shaft. The regulating member is coupled to the cam mechanism to regulate movement of the cam mechanism to maintain a disengaged state of the second direction rotation transmission clutch. The regulating member is arranged to be non-rotatable in response to rotation of the input shaft in the first rotational direction.

Drive force transmission device

In a transfer drive mode switching control system employing a shift actuator that switches from one of a plurality of drive mode positions of a transfer to the other, a drive mode position sensor is provided to detect the drive mode position switched by the shift actuator and to generate information regarding the drive mode position. A transfer control unit outputs a control command signal based on the drive mode position information to the shift actuator for controlling switching between the drive mode positions responsively to a driver-selected drive mode. The transfer control unit allows only a switching operation between predetermined two different drive mode positions corresponding to both ends of a working range of the shift actuator at which motion of the shift actuator is stopped mechanically, in presence of a failure in the drive mode position sensor.
