An auto-bracketing system for use with a camera. A plurality of exposure values, representing different exposure conditions, are calculated. The plurality of exposure values are calculated in accordance with at least two brightness values metered by optical sensors associated with the camera. A plurality of film frames, of a film installed in the camera, are subsequently exposed to the different exposure conditions.

Auto-bracketing system

A data recording apparatus in a camera including a data recording device for recording at least one item of data upon loading a film or commencing the photographing and data upon unloading the film or finishing the photographing, in an area of the film in which no picture is taken. A film feeding device is provided for feeding the film to a data recording position in which the data is recorded.

Data recording apparatus of camera

An exposure control apparatus of a camera includes a first switch which can select a plurality of drive modes including an auto-exposure bracket mode (AEB mode), a second switch which issues signals when operated, a third switch which can modify an exposure correcting value and a memory which stores a plurality of predetermined exposure correcting values. A drive mode selector successively selects the drive modes in response to signals from the second switch when the second switch is actuated during the operation of the first switch. A modifying device successively selects an exposure correcting value to be used to correct the exposure value among those stored in the memory in response to signals issued from the second switch when the latter is actuated during the operation of the third switch. A photographing controller is provided which takes a plurality of pictures at different exposure values in an exposure width correcting values selected by the modifying device when the AEB mode is selected. The controller also interrupts photographing when a release switch is turned OFF.

Exposure control apparatus of camera having an automatic exposure

An exposure control apparatus of a camera having a memory on a photographing lens for storing lens information of the photographing lens. A lens information input device is provided on the camera body to which the photographing lens is mounted, for inputting the lens information stored in the memory. The memory has optimum diaphragm data which is determined in accordance with a predetermined specific condition of the photographing lens and which is stored in the memory as the lens information. The camera body includes an exposure operating device which arithmetically sets an exposure parameter based on the optimum diaphragm data which is input to the camera body through the lens information inputting device from the memory.
