A lever connector includes a first connector housing, a second connector housing that includes a distal fitting portion intended for a distal end of the first connector housing to be fittedly connected thereto, and is adapted to be attached to a connector attaching plate in a state of inserting the second connector housing through a connector attaching hole of the connector attaching plate, a lever adapted to fit the first connector housing into the second connector housing by a pivoting operation, and a grommet for ensuring a waterproofing property of an inside of the first connector housing. The lever includes a lever body, a pivoting connection portion, and a lever locking piece. The grommet is fitted and mounted on the lever and includes a lever covering portion, and a tubular.

Lever connector

A connector of the present invention includes a first connector housing () and a second connector housing () which are fitted to each other, a fitting operation member () which makes the first connector housingand the second connector housing, which are initially fitted, to be completely fitted, a grommet () which urges the fitting operation member to move from a standby position to an operational position, and temporary locking arms () which, while the fitting operation member is temporarily locked at the standby position and the first connector housing and the second connector housing are initially fitted, cancel the temporary locking.

A lance which protrudes from the outside surface of a terminal body to prevent falling out of a cavity of a connector housing includes a lance body of an inclined plate shape whose protruding length from the outer surface of the terminal body towards the outside gradually increases from the front end side of the terminal body to the back end side, and a shielding plate which extends from the back end edge of the lance body towards the outer surface of the terminal body so that an opening which opens towards a terminal back end is not formed between the back end edge of the lance body and the outer surface.

An auxiliary fitting jig used to fit connectors with each other includes displacement movement members movable to be displaced according to a rotational angle of a lever with respect to both side surfaces of a jig body having a connector reception chamber and connector engagement lock portions. The displacement movement members have deformation preventing portions configured to prevent bending deformation of the connector engagement lock portions and deformation allowing portions configure to allow the bending deformation of the connector engagement lock portions.

A connector device includes a pair of connectors and a lever jig. The lever jig includes: an opening/closing door configured to be displaced between an open position where the opening/closing door allows a connector to be attached to the lever jig and a close position where the opening/closing door prevents the connector positioned at an attachment position from being detached from the lever jig; a door holding portion configured to hold the opening/closing door at the close position; and an automatic door opening portion configured to move the opening/closing door at the close position to the open position against a holding force of the door holding portion at a point in time when a manipulation from a fitting manipulation start position to a fitting manipulation completion position is completed.

A connector includes a pair of male and female connector housings to be fitted and connected with each other, and one of the pair of male and female connector housings includes a protrusion protruding in the fitting direction such that a distal end thereof is protruded more toward a rear side of other of the pair of male and female connector housings than a rear end of the other connector housing when the one connector housing is positioned at a fitting start position with the other connector housing, and a rod supporting hole as defined herein; the other connector housing includes a raised portion as defined herein and an inclined surface as defined herein; and after the connector housings are positioned at the fitting start positions, the rod-shaped member is pressed from the rod supporting hole onto the inclined surface, thereby fitting and connecting the connector housings.

A male connector housing has a first projection whose leading end projects backward beyond a rear end of a female connector housing when the male connector housing is placed at a location where the male connector housing starts to fit into the female connector housing, and a first recess that is formed in a leading end of the first projection so that a tip of another rod-shaped member can be inserted; wherein the female connector housing has a second projection that is provided so as to oppose the leading end of the first projection, and a first contact surface that an exterior surface of the middle portion of the rod-shaped member whose tip is inserted into the first recess can contact. The rod-shaped member is utilized as a lever for bringing the male connector housing and the female connector housing into a fit connection.

An auxiliary fitting jig includes first and second jig bodies configured to hold a connector from both sides of the connector, a first interval adjustment mechanism configured to interval-adjustably connect the first and second jig bodies, first and second lever bodies pivotally supported by the first and second jig bodies respectively, a second interval adjustment mechanism configured to interval-adjustably connect the first and second lever bodies in accordance with an interval between the first and second jig bodies adjusted by the first interval adjustment mechanism.

A connectorincludes a first connectorhaving a first connector main body part, a plurality of first terminals protruding from an upper surface of the first connector main body part, a tubular partprotruding from the upper surface of the first connector main body part so as to surround the first terminals and first protrusionsprovided to protrude outside the tubular part, and a second connectorhaving a second connector main body part, a plurality of second terminalswhich are provided on a bottom surface of the second connector main body part and into which the plurality of first terminals are respectively inserted and a second protrusionprotruding from an upper surface of the second connector main body part.
