A driver assistance device comprises a travel route calculator, a danger zone identifier, an information acquisitor, a speed determiner, and a speed controller. The travel route calculator is configured to calculate a travel route to a destination set by an occupant of a vehicle. The danger zone identifier is configured to identify a danger zone on the travel route. The information acquisitor is configured to acquire, from at least one preceding vehicle traveling ahead on the travel route, travel and road surface information at a time when the preceding vehicle has traveled in the danger zone. The speed determiner is configured to, based on the travel and road surface information, determine a safe-travel speed at which the vehicle can travel in the danger zone safely. The speed controller is configured to control, with the safe-travel speed, a travel speed of the vehicle when the vehicle travels in the danger zone.

Driver assistance device

A method for synthesizing a sol solution for forming porous alumina films having high heat resistance and high specific surface area and excellent adhesion to various substrate surfaces is provided. The method can include preparing an alkoxysilane and an aluminum solution, precipitating a silicon compound adsorbed on aluminum hydroxide in a solution of the alkoxysilane and the aluminum solution, and washing the precipitate filtered from the mixed solution with water to prepare a precipitate cake. A slurry solution is prepared by adding water to the precipitate cake, a pH adjusting treatment is performed on the slurry solution, and then an autoclave treatment is performed to prepare SiOAlOcontaining sol solution. A pH value of the slurry solution is controlled within a specific pH range in which the solution state of the SiOAlOcontaining sol solution after the autoclave treatment is a sol state.

Method for synthesizing SiO2Al2O3 containing sol solution and method for forming porous alumina film

A gas separation method is provided. The method includes using a gas separation apparatus comprising a selective permeable membrane and a first and second treatment chambers separated by the selective permeable membrane. A mixed gas containing a gas to be separated is supplied into (or generated within) the first treatment chamber, and the gas to be separated is separated from the mixed gas by having the gas to be separated permeate from the first/second treatment chamber side of the selective permeable membrane, which has a stacked laminated structure of a hydrophilic porous membrane, a separation-functional layer, and a first protective membrane, and the separation-functional layer includes a layer of hydrophilic polymer containing water, and the first treatment chamber is provided on a hydrophilic porous membrane side of the selective permeable membrane and the second treatment chamber is provided on the first protective membrane side of the selective permeable membrane.

Gas separation method and apparatus

A method for synthesizing a sol solution for forming porous alumina films having high heat resistance and high specific surface area and excellent adhesion to various substrate surfaces is provided. The method can include preparing an alkoxysilane and an aluminum solution separately, precipitating a silicon compound adsorbed on aluminum hydroxide in a solution of the alkoxysilane and the aluminum solution, and washing the precipitate filtered from the mixed solution with water to prepare a precipitate cake. A slurry solution is prepared by adding water to the precipitate cake, a pH adjusting treatment is performed on the slurry solution, and then an autoclave treatment is performed to prepare SiOAlOcontaining sol solution. A vehicle control device is configured to issue a command to change at least a behavior of a vehicle in accordance with a change in a driving situation of the vehicle, and includes a vehicle condition detection device, an image capture device, a display device, and an arithmetic control device. The vehicle condition detection device is a slope angle detection sensor to measure a slope angle of a road surface on which the vehicle is driving. The image capture device is configured to capture an image of an area ahead of the vehicle. The display device is configured to display an image in a vehicle compartment of the vehicle. The arithmetic control device is configured to display the image of the area ahead of the vehicle on the display device when an amount of change in the slope angle measured by the vehicle condition detection device exceeds a predetermined threshold.

Vehicle control device

A seat control system for a vehicle includes a seat, a seat position changer, a door sensor, and a controller. When an occupant performs registration operation after an ignition switch is turned on, the controller is configured to: if the door sensor senses a closed state, store a current seat position of the seat as a driving position, in association with the information of the occupant; and, if the door sensor senses an open state, store the current seat position as a get-out position at a time when the occupant gets off the vehicle, in association with the information. After the registration operation is performed, the controller is configured to: change the seat position to the driving position by controlling the seat position changer before the vehicle travels; and change the seat position to the get-out position by controlling the seat position changer when the occupant gets off the vehicle.

Seat control system

Power generation system

Provided is a facilitated COtransport membrane having an improved COpermeance and an improved CO/Hselectivity. The facilitated COtransport membrane includes a separation-functional membrane that includes a hydrophilic polymer gel membrane containing a COcarrier and a COhydration catalyst. Further preferably, the COhydration catalyst at least has catalytic activity at a temperature of 100&#xb0; C. or higher, has a melting point of 200&#xb0; C. or higher, or is soluble in water.

The present invention provides a composition for a COgas separation membrane containing: at least one compound selected from the group consisting of an alkali metal carbonate, an alkali metal bicarbonate, and an alkali metal hydroxide; a crosslinked polymer in which a polymer having a carboxyl group has been crosslinked; and a non-crosslinked polymer obtained by polymerization of one or more monomers selected from the group consisting of vinyl acetate, acrylic acid, methacrylic acid, and a derivative thereof.

Composition for COgas separation membrane, COgas separation membrane and method for producing same, and COgas separation membrane module

Provided is a method for separating, from a raw gas containing a specific gas, the specific gas using a gas separation membrane module. The gas separation membrane module includes a housing and a gas separation membrane element enclosed in the housing. The gas separation membrane element includes a gas separation membrane including a hydrophilic resin composition layer for selectively allowing for permeation of the specific gas. The method includes the steps of: increasing pressure in an interior of the gas separation membrane module; increasing a temperature in the interior of the gas separation membrane module; and feeding a raw gas to the interior of the gas separation membrane module in that order.
