Data item parts and database manipulation parts are prepared in advance, and a business transaction program is generated by combining the data item parts and the database manipulation parts in accordance with a business transaction specification. The data item part includes a data unit and a procedure unit, which is provided for each data item to be processed by the business transaction program, the data unit storing data to be processed, and the procedure unit storing procedure information defining the process contents of the data to be processed. The database manipulation part includes a data unit and a procedure unit, which is provided for each table of a database for storing data to be processed by the business transaction program, the procedure unit storing procedure information defining database manipulation, the database manipulation including addition, update, deletion, search, or the like of a database record, the data unit storing data of the database record and a pointer to the data item part for processing the data in the database record.

Program generating method combining data item part with database

A flow-through cell has a body under which an ion-selective electrode is disposed. The side portion of the cell body is provided with a reference electrode. The cell body has a sample path with a crank form and also has a substantially horizontally extended path for a reference electrode solution. The crank path has a lower horizontal part, so that it is possible to suppress the undesirable flowing down of the reference electrode solution into the ion-selective electrode during an ion concentration measurement operation. The crank path has a upper horizontal part, which serve to suppress the undesirable flowing of the blood cells contained in the blood sample towards the path for the reference electrode solution. Furthermore, the crank path for the sample is designed to suppress the occurrence of bubbles in the path, with the previso that, if such bubbles should occur, these bubbles may be smoothly withdrawn.

Flow-through cell provided with reference electrode

A hollow cylindrical permanent magnet having its semicircle magnetized as N pole and the remaining semicircle magnetized as S pole forms the rotor. Two stator magnetic poles which are planted radially around the outer periphery of a cylindrical stator yoke, pole shoes which are firmly mounted on the outer peripheral side of each stator magnetic pole so as to have its outer peripheral side oppose to the inner peripheral surface of aforesaid permanent magnet, and intermediary magnetic poles which are planted radially on the outer periphery of the stator yoke so as to place each of them in between each of these pole shoes, form the stator with all of these components made of magnetic materials. Around each of the stator magnetic poles windings are wound. One magnetism detector which detects the revolutional position of the permanent magnet is mounted at the position within the gap of magnetic flux which is located in a position slightly deviated toward the pole shoe side from the center line connecting the center of the peripheral gap between the end point of the pole shoe and the end point of the intermediary magnetic pole with the center of the stator yoke. A current control circuit controls the flow of current that flows through the windings of each stator winding upon receiving the output of the above-mentioned magnetism detector.

Direct current brushless electric motor

A serum and a reagent are supplied into a reaction tube to prepare a reactive solution or a sample solution which is sucked up at a predetermined position into one of a plurality of flow cells. The flow cells are mounted on a thermostatic block to be heated to a predetermined temperature and alternatively supplied with the sample solution. After a sample solution has been introduced from a specified reaction tube into one of the flow cells and heated to the predetermined temperature, the sample solution in the one flow cell is irradiated with light to measure changes in absorbance of the sample solution for a predetermined time. During a period when the absorbance changes of the sample solution in one flow cell is measured, another sample solution is introduced from another reaction tube into another flow cell and heated to the predetermined temperature. Immediately after the measurement of the absorbance changes of the sample solution in the one flow cell has been completed, the other flow cell is irradiated with light to measure the changes in absorbance of the sample solution in the other flow cell. Thereafter, one and the other flow cells are alternately supplied with a sample solution to successively measure the absorbance changes. Thus, a waiting time for stabilizing the temperature of the sample solution introduced into the flow cell can be actually dispensed with, and therefore effective measurement can be made.
