A layered composite component includes a plate-shaped base member formed from a plastic material, a cover member layered on the base member, and a stitching. The cover member includes a plate-shaped main body extending along the base member such that the main body is spaced apart by a gap from the base member and projections projecting from an opposing surface of the main body opposed to the base member. The cover member is formed from a plastic material and is elastically deformable. The cover member includes a stitched portion linearly extending and including a portion on which the stitching is formed. The projections are not formed on the stitched portion, and the stitched portion includes a ridge extending along the stitching.

Overlapped composite component and method for manufacturing overlapped composite component

A superposition interior component includes a base, an outer layer member, which covers the base, and a middle member, which is made of a soft plastic and disposed between the base and the outer layer member. The superposition interior component is formed by stacking the base, the middle member, and the outer layer member together. The middle member includes a plate-shaped body, first protrusions, and second protrusions. The first protrusions protrude from a first surface of the body, which faces the base. The second protrusions protrude from a second surface of the body, which faces the outer layer member.

Superposition interior component

A laminated composite interior part includes a first member made of synthetic resin and having a mating surface; and a second member made of elastically deformable synthetic resin and having a plate portion substantially parallel to the mating surface. The plate portion has integrally-formed and interspersed protrusions protruding toward the mating surface. The second member is placed on the first member with distal end portions of the protrusions being in contact with the mating surface. Cushioning properties are provided by elastic deformation of the protrusions, caused as the protrusions' distal end portions are relatively pressed against the mating surface. Flexural rigidity of each of the protrusions against a compressive load is anisotropic about its axis, so that the protrusion is flexurally deformed in one direction about its axis with the distal end portion thereof sliding on the mating surface. Surface roughness of the mating surface is less than 0.20.

Stacked composite interior part

An interior component includes a base member and an outer member, which is stacked on the base member. The outer member is provided with projections and protruding portions. The projections project from an opposing surface, which is opposed to the base member. The projections are deformed while bending in a falling manner in specific directions by contacting the base member. The protruding portions protrude from the opposing surface and are provided on the paths along which the projections are deformed.

A laminated composite interior component including: a first member that has a predetermined mating surface; and a second member made of an elastically deformable resin material and having a plate portion that is generally parallel to the mating surface, the plate portion being integrally provided with a large number of projections that project toward the mating surface such that a space is formed between the mating surface and the plate portion, the second member being disposed so as to be placed on the first member with the projections contacting the mating surface, in which the large number of projections have the same shape as each other, and are configured such that a flexural rigidity of each of the projections against a compressive load is anisotropic around an axis so that the projections are each to be deflected in one direction around the axis, the large number of projections are disposed on line segments that define a shape of a large number of arrangement units in accordance with an arrangement pattern in which the arrangement units are provided regularly, and distal ends of the projections are pressed against the mating surface so that the projections are elastically deformed to impart cushioning properties, the arrangement pattern being determined such that the large number of arrangement units are provided away from each other and proximate line segments of adjacent arrangement units are parallel to each other, and two projections each provided on the proximate line segments being disposed in such an attitude that deflection directions, which correspond to the one direction, of the two projections are parallel to each other and at positions at which a clearance is provided between the two projections when the two projections are deflected.

A vehicle interior part includes a structure in which a soft upholstery material covers a front surface of a base material which is located on an interior side of a vehicle. The soft upholstery material is disposed in a stretched state on the front surface of the base material which is located on the interior side of the vehicle.

A laminated composite part, which includes a first member having a predetermined mating surface, and a second member that is made of an elastically deformable resin material, that has a plate portion substantially parallel to the mating surface and having a multiplicity of protrusions formed integrally therewith so as to protrude toward the mating surface so that space is created between the plate portion and the mating surface, and that is placed on the first member such that the protrusions contact the mating surface, which has cushioning properties as tip ends of the protrusions are pressed against the mating surface and elastically deformed, and in which one of the first and second members which is located on a design surface side has an engaging projection that projects to a larger extent than the protrusions, and the engaging projection is inserted through an insertion hole formed in the other of the first and second members and is retained in the insertion hole, whereby the first and second members are connected together, the insertion hole being provided with a stopper portion that is engaged with the engaging projection to retain the engaging projection in the insertion hole, in order to allow the engaging projection to move relative to the stopper portion in a direction parallel to the design surface due to a difference in thermal expansion between the first and second members, the stopper portion having a predetermined length in a direction of the relative movement that occurs due to the difference in thermal expansion, the stopper portion being a bridge extending across the insertion hole and having a slit in a middle so as to be separated into a plurality of parts, and the engaging projection having an annular shape and being inserted through the insertion hole such that the engaging projection elastically deforms the bridge and expands the slit, and the bridge thus extending through an opening of the annular shape, so that the engaging projection is retained in the insertion hole by the bridge and is allowed to move relatively in a longitudinal direction of the bridge.

Layered composite component

Provided is a multilayer composite interior component in which boundary protrusions () aligned in a row on both sides of a parting line (L) are arranged in a staggered manner so as to bend toward the boundary protrusions () in the row opposite thereto. In this way, even when the boundary protrusions () are separated from the parting line (L) by a predetermined distance (g, g) in order to maintain the strength of a divided mold, the boundary protrusions () bend and deform so as to fill in an empty part in the vicinity of the parting line (L) when a surface layer member () is pressed by fingers or a hand. As a result, a feeling of unevenness resulting from decreases in reaction force in the vicinity of the parting line (L) is minimized, thus making it possible to obtain a more uniform texture.

A laminated composite interior component includes a first member that has a predetermined mating surface; and a second member made of an elastically deformable resin material. The second member has a plate-shaped portion that is substantially parallel to the mating surface and that has multiple protrusions which are formed integrally with the plate-shaped portion and which protrude toward the mating surface such that a space is formed between the mating surface and the plate-shaped portion. The second member is arranged so as to be laminated on the first member with the protrusions in contact with the mating surface.

A laminated composite interior part comprising: a first member having a mating surface; a second member which is made of an elastically deformable resin material, and which has a plate portion substantially parallel to the mating surface, the plate portion being provided with a multiplicity of protrusions which are formed integrally with the plate portion and which protrude toward the mating surface such that the plate portion and the mating surface cooperate to define a space between the plate portion and the mating surface, the second member being placed on the first member with the protrusions being in contact with the mating surface; the laminated composite interior part having cushioning properties and thus a predetermined tactile feel provided by elastic deformation of the protrusions, which is to be caused as distal ends of the protrusions are pressed against the mating surface; the multiplicity of protrusions being identical with one another in shape, a base end portion of each of the protrusions and a center of contact between the each of the protrusions and the mating surface being offset from each other so as not to overlap each other in a planar direction of the mating surface, each of the protrusions being flexurally deformed in a given direction about an axis that is determined by a positional relationship between the base end portion of the each of the protrusions and the center of the contact, and the multiplicity of protrusions being interspersed on the plate portion so as to be arranged at predetermined intervals depending on the height of the protrusions so that the protrusions do not interfere with each other when flexurally deformed; and the multiplicity of the protrusions being positioned on sides of a multiplicity of polygons having the same in shape and size that cooperate to form a grid pattern in which each adjacent pair of the polygons have a common side that is common to the each adjacent pair of the polygons.

A laminated composite interior component, having cushioning property, including a first member having a predetermined mating surface, and a second member made of an elastically deformable resin material, having a plate portion on and parallel to the mating surface and multiple solid protrusions formed integrally with the plate portion and having tip ends that protrude toward and contact the mating surface, and flexural rigidity of each protrusion against a compressive load having anisotropy around an axis perpendicular to the plate portion. Each of the protrusions have a longitudinal shape in a transverse section parallel to the plate portion and have one or more stepped portions, with a smaller section at its tip end side, in one of a pair of sidewalls located in a lateral direction perpendicular to a longitudinal direction of the longitudinal shape. Each protrusion is tilted toward a sidewall opposite the stepped portion.

A vehicle grip structure including a body member and a grip, in which the body member is covered by the grip made of a synthetic resin, the grip includes an insertion hole in which the body member is inserted and a space portion provided along the insertion hole, multiple elastic protrusions are formed integrally with the grip and dispersedly on one of an inner peripheral-side wall surface and an outer peripheral-side wall surface of the space portion so as to protrude toward the other wall surface, when the grip is held by a driver, the elastic protrusions are pressed against the other wall surface and elastically deformed, and the elastic protrusions are arranged in a grid pattern in which adjoining ones of multiple polygons of the same shape have a common side, and are positioned so as to form each side of the polygons.

The second member has a plate-like portion substantially parallel to the mating surface and having a multiplicity of protrusions formed, and is set on the first member such that the protrusions contact the mating surface. The laminated composite part further includes a curved portion curved so as to provide a recessed design surface, in which an engagement protrusion protruding more than the protrusions is formed integrally with the curved portion of one of the first and second members, located on the design surface side, an insertion hole in which the engagement protrusion is relatively inserted is formed in the other member of the first and second members, and the engagement protrusion is inserted in the insertion hole and is retained so as not to come off from the insertion hole.

Stacked composite component

A laminated composite part includes a first member comprising a predetermined mating surface, and a second member that is made of an elastically deformable resin material, that comprises a plate-like portion substantially parallel to the mating surface and including a multiplicity of protrusions formed integrally with the plate-like portion, and that is set on the first member such that the protrusions contact the mating surface. The multiplicity of protrusions are formed so as to spread all over the plate-like portion, and a deformation guide portion is provided for each protrusion in a region of the mating surface the tip end of the protrusion contacts, so that when the protrusion is pressed, the deformation guide portion causes the tip end of the protrusion to slide and move along the mating surface in one direction determined for each protrusion and flexurally deforms the protrusion in the one direction.
