Provided is a battery module capable of suppressing failures in accurate detection of the state of battery cells due to the effects of unwanted radiation from the battery cells. A battery moduleincludes a plurality of battery cellsthat are stacked and disposed and a wiring memberto detect the state of the plurality of battery cells. In the wiring member, an insulating base material, a wiring layerdisposed on one surfaceside of the base materialand including a plurality of detection linesto detect the state of the plurality of battery cells, and a ground layerdisposed in a position corresponding to at least the wiring layer, on the other surfaceside of the base materialare stacked.

Battery module

This secondary cell module has: a plurality of unit cells, each having a pair of positive and negative electrode terminals; a first bus bar providing an electrical connection between unit cells; and a second bus bar disposed on at least two unit cells of the plurality of unit cells and electrically connected to an external terminal. An electricity storage block includes: an element stacked body in which a plurality of square electricity storage elements is stacked and arranged such that wide surfaces of the adjacent square electricity storage elements are opposed to each other; and a pressing device that presses the element stacked body toward the thermally-conductive sheet arranged on the heat transfer plate. The element stacked body includes holders having wide surface abutment parts in abutment with one of the wide surfaces in a pair in at least the predetermined square electricity storage element. The outer surfaces of the bottom plates of the square electricity storage elements are set as heat transfer surfaces thermally connected to the heat transfer plate via the thermally-conductive sheet. The heat-transfer surfaces protrude toward the heat transfer plate more than the end surfaces of the wide surface abutment parts at the heat transfer plate side.

Provided is an assembled battery which is downsized and in which a fastening force between a busbar and an external terminal cable at a fixing part is improved. Provided is an assembled battery including: a group of cells in which a plurality of cells, each having electrode terminals, is stacked; plate-shaped members arranged at ends of the group of cells; and cell holders arranged between the plate-shaped members and the group of cells, in which each of the cell holders is provided with a terminal fixing part of the assembled battery, and each of the plate-shaped members has a fitting part to be fitted to the terminal fixing part.

Assembled battery

Provided is a secondary cell which is resistant to vibration and impact. The secondary cell includes a flat wound group supported, through an insulator, at a lid on which external terminals are arranged, and a cell case for housing the flat wound group. In the secondary cell, a flat portion of the flat wound group has a gap between the flat portion and a wide surface of the cell case, and is held on the wide surface near a cell case bottom through a holding portion.

The present invention proposes a structure of a battery module in which a spacer can slide by means of a guide member constituting the battery module and can be positioned. A battery module according to the present invention is a battery moduleprovided with a battery blockin which a plurality of rectangular battery cellsare arranged and laminated, and includes a spacerwhich intervenes between the plurality of battery cells, guide membersandwhich slidably support the spaceralong a laminating direction of the battery cells, and end platesas a pair which are respectively arranged on one side and the other side of the guide membersandin a sliding direction and which sandwich the battery blockfrom both sides in the sliding direction.

In order to provide a charge/discharge technology for controlling an assembled battery system without promoting degradation or reduction in the lifetime of the assembled battery system, the assembled battery system includes a function for controlling charge and discharge power of a plurality of units each including a secondary battery and a power converter as one unit, the plurality of units being electrically connected in parallel to each other. When each unit performs charge or discharge by at least one or more times, charge and discharge of the unit are controlled so as not to be performed until a predetermined pause time period elapses.

Battery energy storage system

In a charging control system for recording data regarding charging a secondary battery, a status recording unit refers the charging voltage value and the charging current value and records the referred charging voltage, the referred charging current and reference time when the charging current value is referred and time when the charging voltage value is referred, on the recording unit. A battery protecting unit stops the charging the secondary battery when the charging voltage exceeds the predetermined target voltage value. The status recording unit starts recording of the charging voltage value, the charging current value, and the reference time on the recording unit, when the charging voltage exceeds the target voltage value as a result of a fail in stopping the charging by the battery protecting unit because of occurrence of a trouble in the battery protecting unit.

The present invention provides a method of preventing liquid fuel that has penetrated from an anode from reaching a cathode and of effectively utilizing a cathode catalyst, which provides a membrane electrode assembly for fuel cell having high output density. In a membrane electrode assembly for fuel cell including an anode formed of a catalyst and a solid polymer electrolyte, a cathode formed of a catalyst and a solid polymer electrolyte, and a solid polymer electrolyte membrane formed between the anode and the cathode, an intermediate layer is formed between the cathode and the electrolyte membrane.

Membrane electrode assembly for fuel cell

A fuel cell stack start method is to provide in which without relying on oxidation and reduction condition of an anode, an output reduction of the fuel cell stack can be avoided. In the start method of a solid polymer type fuel cell stack that is comprised of a separator including an anode flow channel for flowing a fuel, another separator including a cathode flow channel for feeding an oxidant and electrodes and an electrolyte interposed between the separators, the method is characterized by performing successively a first step of feeding the fuel to the fuel cell stack under a condition that a cathode is covered by generated water, a second step of forming an oxide layer on the cathode, a third step of feeding the oxidant gas to the fuel cell stack and a fourth step of extracting load current from the fuel cell stack.
