A display device includes a substrate, a plurality of pixels, a light emitting element, and an inorganic insulating layer. The pixels are provided to the substrate. The light emitting element is provided to each of the pixels. The inorganic insulating layer has translucency and covers at least part of the light emitting element. The inorganic insulating layer includes a side part and an extending part. The side part is provided to the side surface of the light emitting element. The extending part is provided at a side on the lower end of the side part and extending toward the outer side of the light emitting element than the side part in planar view seen from the normal direction of the substrate.

Display device

A display device includes a light emitting element and an optical adjustment layer over the light emitting element. The optical adjustment layer includes a reflective film, a light transmitting wall over the reflection film, and a light transmitting film in contact with a side surface of the reflective film and a side surface of the light transmitting wall. A refractive index of the light transmitting wall is larger than a refractive index of the light transmitting film.

A display device includes a substrate, a plurality of first pixels and a plurality of second pixels provided to the substrate, a plurality of inorganic light emitting elements provided to the respective first pixels and the respective second pixels, a plurality of signal lines configured to supply a signal to the first pixels and the second pixels, and a plurality of power supply lines configured to supply a power supply potential to the first pixels and the second pixels. At least one or more of the signal lines are provided in a layer different from a layer of the power supply lines in the first pixels, and the signal lines and the power supply lines are provided in the same layer in the second pixels.

A display device comprising: a first substrate; a plurality of pixels provided to the first substrate; a light emitting element comprising a light emitting element substrate provided over the pixels and a plurality of light emitting parts provided to the light emitting element substrate corresponding to the respective pixels; an anode electrode provided to the first substrate and electrically coupled to the light emitting element; and a plurality of phosphor layers provided to the respective light emitting parts and each covering at least part of the corresponding light emitting part.

According to one embodiment, a display device includes a first substrate and a second substrate. The first substrate includes a plurality of pixels and a plurality of color filters. The plurality of pixels include a first pixel and a second pixel that display an identical color. The second pixel is disposed in a diagonal direction relative to the first pixel. Each of a first color filter corresponding to the first pixel and a second color filter corresponding to the second pixel includes a first filter part formed at a position overlapping an opening of a pixel corresponding to the color filter in plan view, and a second filter part formed at a position overlapping a non-opening area of the pixel in plan view.

A display device comprising: a first substrate; a plurality of pixels provided to the first substrate; a light emitting element provided to each of the pixels; a phosphor layer covering at least an upper surface of the light emitting element; a first reflective layer facing a side surface of the light emitting element; and a second reflective layer provided to a side surface of the phosphor layer, separated from the first reflective layer in a normal direction of the first substrate, and disposed farther away from the first substrate than the first reflective layer.

Array substrate and liquid crystal display device

The display device includes a plurality of inorganic light emitters arrayed in a matrix with a row-column configuration and a surface layer. The surface layer is provided in a traveling direction of light emitted from the inorganic light emitters with respect to the inorganic light emitters and includes a plurality of transmission parts and a blocking part. The transmission parts are provided in a matrix with a row-column configuration so as to overlap the inorganic light emitters when viewed from the traveling direction of the light and allow the light from the inorganic light emitters to pass therethrough. The blocking part blocks the light from the inorganic light emitters. The inorganic light emitters are provided overlapping the transmission parts provided to the surface layer.

Display system

A display device includes a substrate; a plurality of pixels on the substrate; a light emitting element in each of the plurality of pixels; a first electrode electrically coupled with the light emitting element; a transistor on the substrate and electrically coupled with the first electrode; and a coupling layer between the first electrode and the light emitting element in a direction perpendicular to the substrate and containing a plurality of first conductive nanoparticles.

A light emitting element array is provided and includes substrate; light emitting elements arrayed to substrate; first anisotropic diffusion layer facing substrate with light emitting elements interposed between first anisotropic diffusion layer and substrate; and second anisotropic diffusion layer, wherein first anisotropic diffusion layer and second anisotropic diffusion layer are layered, first anisotropic diffusion layer and second anisotropic diffusion layer each include a region in an in-plane direction including a high refractive index region and a low refractive index region in a mixed manner, and absolute value of first angle formed by boundary between high refractive index region and low refractive index region of first anisotropic diffusion layer and direction perpendicular to substrate is different from absolute value of second angle formed by boundary between high refractive index region and low refractive index region of second anisotropic diffusion layer and direction perpendicular to substrate.

Light emitting element array

According to one embodiment, an array substrate includes a semiconductor layer, scanning and signal lines, first and second insulating layers, a pedestal and a pixel electrode. The scanning line is opposed to the semiconductor layer. The first insulating layer is provided above the semiconductor layer. The signal line and the pedestal are connected to the semiconductor layer through first and second contact holes in the first insulating layer. The second insulating layer is provided above the pedestal. The pixel electrode is connected to the pedestal through a third contact hole in the second insulating layer. The signal line and the pedestal are provided in layers different from each other.

According to one embodiment, a display device includes a switching element disposed in a display area including a pixel, a color filter layer including a first color filter of a first color and a second color filter of a second color different from the first color and a conductive layer connected to the switching element via a contact hole penetrating the color filter layer. The conductive layer is in contact with the first color filter and the second color filter in the contact hole.

According to an aspect, a display device includes: a substrate; a plurality of pixels provided to the substrate; a plurality of light emitting elements provided to the pixels; and a first light diffusion layer including a plurality of light diffusion structures and having a first surface and a second surface opposite to the first surface, the second surface facing the substrate with the light emitting elements interposed between the second surface and the substrate. The light diffusion structures each include a plurality of high refractive index layers and a plurality of low refractive index layers. The high refractive index layers and the low refractive index layers are alternately layered in a thickness direction of the first light diffusion layer. The high refractive index layers and the low refractive index layers are each curved and recessed in a direction from the first surface toward the second surface.
