A winding roller for winding and unwinding a corner projected canvas and a rectangular canvas in such a state that the canvases overlap is supported via a bearing and a slider for attaching a projected corner canvas to the winding roller and making the canvas freely slidable is incorporated. The front bar for the rectangular canvas is supported by a foldable arm in such a manner so as to be freely translatable and the front bar for the projected corner canvas is formed in the front bar for the rectangular canvas in such a manner so as to be freely slidable. Thus, the projected corner canvas and the rectangular canvas, which are wound around the winding roller in such a state that the canvases overlap are unwound so as to spread, and the spread projected corner canvas slides transversely along the winding roller and the front bar of the rectangular canvas, and thus, extends to the outside of a building which includes a corner space portion of a projected corner portion. The projected corner canvas which extends into the corner space portion transversely slides to the rear along the winding roller and the front bar of the rectangular canvas while remaining in a spread state, and after that, the projected corner canvas and the rectangular canvas are wound around the winding roller in such a state that the canvases overlap.

Combined awning device and winding roller for a number of canvases

A composite awning device, wherein an awning device for projected corner having a projected corner canvas windup device is combined with a rectangular awning device having a rectangular canvas windup device, mainly the awning device for projected corner is mounted near the corner of a projected corner portion, and the rectangular awning device is mounted in a linear district following the corner part when used. The windup device of the awning device for projected corner comprises projected corner canvas windup shafts and front bars. The windup shafts comprise inner rotating shafts and outer rollers supportedly inserted into the rotating shaft. The projected corner canvas front bars are supportedly inserted into the rectangular canvas front bars so as to be movably guided. The rectangular canvas front bars are moved parallel with each other in the longitudinal direction by swing arms supporting both front bars, and the projected corner canvas front bars are moved parallel with each other in a diagonal direction. Thus, epoch-making and fresh products providing sufficient interest and serviceability as the composite awning device can be provided to industries by remarkably increasing the aesthetic appearance of the projected corner portions of various buildings and the external portions of the building including the projected corner portions and recessed corner portions.

A chelate-forming filter which comprises a filter medium made of natural, regenerated, or synthetic fibers wherein the fiber molecules have, incorporated therein, chelate-forming functional groups represented by general formula (1) [wherein G represents a residue of a chain sugar alcohol or of a polyhydric alcohol; and R represents hydrogen, (lower) alkyl, or -G (wherein G has the same meaning as the above G, and the two G's may be the same or different)] or (3) (wherein R, R, and Reach represents lower alkylene; and n is an integer of 1 to 4).

A fiber capable of forming a metal chelate and a process for producing the same are disclosed, wherein the fiber is characterized in that at least one metal chelate-forming compound selected from the group consisting of aminocarboxylic acid, aminocarboxylic acid, thiocarboxylic acid and phosphoric acid, which are reactive with a glycidyl group, is bonded to a molecule of a synthetic fiber through a crosslinkable compound having a reactive double bond and a glycidyl group in its molecule. The chelate-forming fiber is excellent in capturing harmful heavy metal ions and can be easily produced in a simple and safe way at a low cost.

A cap is provided for preventing the deformation and breakage of tabs in a hood-less type male connector. The cap is integrally made of a synthetic resin, and a cap main body for surrounding tabs projecting from the front end surface of a connector housing is formed at a front part of the cap . Behind the cap main body is formed an engaging portion for engaging the cap with the connector housing . The engaging portion is comprised of a tubular portion A to be mounted on a front end portion of the connector housing and a pair of elastic pieces B extending from the left and right side walls of the tubular portion A. Further, retainer protecting ribs project upward and downward from a rear end of the tubular portion A so as to prevent retainers in their standby positions from shifting to their locking positions.

To achieve the sealability of a connector in a favorable condition, at the rear end of an inner casing provided therein with a press-connecting female terminal which is press-connected with cable, an elastic plug is mounted, and an inner casing and the elastic plug are housed in a housing area of an outer casing. The elastic plug is housed in an elastically compressed condition on an inner peripheral side of a tubular portion, and the tubular portion is deformed outwardly by its elastic force. A pressing member provided with a control piece is mounted on the rear end of the tubular portion. Because the control piece is pressed down by sandwiching from the outer peripheral side of the upper wall and lower wall of the tubular portion, the outwardly deformed portions of the tubular portion are controlled and can return to nearly their original shape.
