A detection signal output device includes connector terminals adapted to be connected by a cable to an external device. Fixed contacts are spaced apart from the connector terminals and output information indicating detector states. An integrated circuit includes a box-shaped package having different first and second side surfaces. First IC terminals are arranged on the first side surface and electrically connected to the fixed contacts. Second IC terminals are arranged on the second side surface and electrically connected to the connector terminals. The integrated circuit generates an information signal, in accordance with information indicating the detector states obtained through the first IC terminals, and outputs the information signal from one of the second IC terminals. The fixed contacts are arranged in correspondence with the first side surface, and the connector terminals are arranged in correspondence with the second side surface.

Detection signal output device

A communication system includes a network formed by a plurality of control units, each operated in a high power consumption mode and a low power consumption mode. A selected one or more of the control units act solely or in cooperation with each other to implement a specific function. Each of the selected one or more of the control units related to the specific function is set in the high power consumption mode. Vehicle anti-theft apparatus

An electronic key system has a portable apparatus, an operation control device and an update control device. The portable apparatus selectively transmits a first signal and a second signal. The operation control device authorizes an operation of a key based on reception of the first signal. The update control device transmits an update signal in a private region of the owner of the portable apparatus. The portable apparatus has a counter and a portable apparatus controller. When receiving the update signal, the portable apparatus controller resets the counter. When the counting value of the counter is equal to or less than a predetermined limit value, the controller selects the first signal as a signal to be transmitted. When the counting value is in excess of the limit value, the controller selects the second signal as a signal to be transmitted.

Electronic key system

An engine start/stop control system for preventing an engine from stopping when a vehicle is traveling. The system includes an IGdriver circuit arranged between a power supply control unit and an IGrelay. The IG1 driver circuit is activated in accordance with an activation signal from the power supply control unit or an output signal of a latch circuit and includes an FET for activating a relay. The latch circuit keeps the FET ON and the relay activated unless the vehicle stops traveling and a start/stop switch is pushed.

System for controlling starting and stopping of engine

A motor drive control device, comprises: a switch which operates a motor; a motor which raises and lowers a door glass; a pulse signal generating device which synchronizes with the rotation of the motor and generates a pulse signal; and a determining device which, in a case in which there is a predetermined difference between this pulse signal and a normal pulse signal which is generated by synchronizing with the rotation of said motor, determines that the pulse signal generating device is failed. Therefore, in a case in which it is determined that the pulse signal generating device is failed and the switch is operated so that the motor raises the door glass, raising of the door glass can be stopped.
