A photocurable silicone composition easy to manufacture, free of variations in adhesion and effective as a potting material or the like is provided. The composition is prepared by adding a silanol terminated organosiloxane to an amino group-containing organodialkoxysilane, then reacting the resulting amino group-containing organopolysiloxane with a vinyl group-containing isocyanate, acrylic anhydride, methacrylic anhydride, acrylic halide or methacrylic halide and combining the resulting photocurable organopolysiloxane with a photopolymerization catalyst.

16-membered macrolide derivatives represented by the formula (I): ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 represents a hydrogen atom or a COR.sup.6 group, wherein R.sup.6 represents a straight-chain alkyl group having 1 to 3 carbon atoms; R.sup.2 represents a hydrogen atom or a COR.sup.6 group, wherein R.sup.6 is as defined above; R.sup.3 represents a hydrogen atom or a COR.sup.6 group, wherein R.sup.6 is as defined above; R.sup.4 represents a straight-chain alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms or a substituted or unsubstituted allyl group; and R.sup.5 represents a substituted or unsubstituted, straight-chain or branched alkyl, alkenyl or aralkyl group having 1 to 10 carbon atoms; and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof are disclosed. These compounds show excellent and long-acting antimicrobial activities. A novel process for producing these 16-membered macrolide derivatives is further disclosed.

A curable silicone composition comprising an addition reaction product of an organopolysiloxane having amino groups at both ends of its molecule and a vinyl group-containing isocyanate, and a moisture-curing or anaerobic-curing catalyst and a photopolymerization catalyst. The silicone composition has high photocurability and moisture- or anaerobic-curability, easy to manufacture and easy to handle.

Moisture- or anaerobic-curable and photocurable silicone compositions

A silicone composition having superior moisture- and photocurability and easy to manufacture is provided. A polyorganosiloxane having primary amino, (meth)acryl or epoxy groups at both ends is reacted with a compound having two to three hydrolyzable groups and also having (meth)acryl or epoxy group in the case where the said end groups are primary amino groups, or also having a primary amino group in the case where the said end groups are (meth)acryl or epoxy groups, then the resulting reaction product is reacted with a compound having vinyl group and (meth)acryl, epoxy or isocyanato group, to prepare a polysiloxane having hydrolyzable groups and vinyl group, and this polysiloxane is combined with a photopolymerization catalyst and a moisture-curing catalyst.

A method of producing a 3-deacylated derivative of a 16-membered macrolide antibiotic using a microorganism belonging to the genus Phialophora or Preussia which comprises incubating said microorganism with a 16-membered macrolide antibiotic in a medium containing nutritional sources commonly used for incubating microorganisms, isolating a 3-deacylated derivative from the incubation medium, a microorganism to be used for the above method and a novel macrolide antibiotic.
