A vehicle door latch device comprises a longitudinal open link having an upper end connected to an open lever and a lower end connected to a lock lever. The open link is displaced into a locked position when it moves toward an exterior side of a latch body and is not overlapped with a raised portion of the latch body. A self-canceling lever is attached to the latch body by a first shaft and has a first arm connected to an ratchet pin and a second arm extending toward the open link. The second arm restores the open link to an unlocked position by when a ratchet is rotated by a contact with a latch. The first shaft is located on an exterior side of the ratchet pin. The second arm is overlapped with the open link when the open link is in the locked position.

Vehicle door latch device with self-cancelling mechanism

A door lock device has a one-motion door opening mechanism. The door lock device comprises a latch mechanism consisting of a latch and a ratchet preventing the latch from reverse-rotating, an outer opening lever, a lock lever, a link operatively placed between the outer opening lever and the lock lever, an inner opening lever connected to the inside opening handle of the vehicular door. The link and the inside opening handle are so connected that the link moves apart from the pressing piece of the ratchet when the inside opening handle excessively rotates. Consequently, when it is at the locked condition and the inside opening handle is operated to open the door, the ratchet is disengaged from the latch and the link is pressed by the pressing piece displacing it to the unlocked position. When the inside opening handle is excessively rotated, the link moves apart from the pressing piece.

Door lock device with one-motion door opening mechanism

An actuator of a vehicle door lock device, which includes an output shaft adapted at one end to be coupled with to a lock lever of the lock device, a sector arm for rotating the output shaft, a reversible motor for rotating the sector arm around said output shaft through speed reduction gears and a plastic-made housing for accommodating the output shaft, the sector arm and the reversible motor. The sector arm has, on an inner surface of its outer arc-shaped flange, an inner toothed portion which meshes with a final gear of the reduction gears and an arc hole centering the output shaft. An intermediate shaft for supporting the final gear is arranged in parallel with the output shaft and projects through the arc hole.

A door locking device wherein first and second field magnets are disposed at respective stationary positions opposite to each other through an axial air gap; the first field magnet has 2P (P: an integer of at least 2) contiguous poles of alternating N and S polarity and is formed in a torus shape; the second field magnet has n pole(s) (n: an integer of at least 1) of alternating N and S poles and is formed so as to define a space capable of receiving a swingable driven gear in the plane opposite to a rotatable coreless armature and hence not to become a complete torus form; a rotatable coreless armature is rotatably provided between the first and second field magnets; a commutator is provided on the rotatable coreless armature so as to rotate integrally therewith; brushes coming into movable contact with the commutator are provided on its corresponding stationary side; a driving gear rotating integrally with the rotatable coreless armature is disposed concentrically with the armature; a back yoke for the second field magnet is extended and bent to define a swingable driven gear-receiving space; the swingable driven gear is engaged with the driving gear so that it may be received and disposed in the swingable driven gear-receiving space; and an output lever is swingably attached to the output gear shaft.
