As a new design, when making part of a decoration rotatable, there is a tendency for this to result in an unnecessarily complex structure, and it was difficult to apply such structures to small decorations such as rings, due to considerations such as strength and smooth movement. Solution: The present invention was configured as follows in order to provide a decoration which, even if having a small size, has a simple structure and strength, and opens like a flower. The decoration has a configuration whereby one of a group of movable petals () having a calculated curved surface () and which are positioned so as overlap with the positions to be rotated and are synchronized with one another, is opened and closed by a single rotating knob () and is synchronized with the other petal-shaped parts () smoothly and effectively to replicate the movement of a flower opening and closing.

A polypropylene thermoplastic resin composition comprising (a) a modified crystalline polypropylene of a crystalline polypropylene comprising said modified crystalline polypropylene and (b) a modified polyamide obtained by partially or wholly grafting a polyamide with a clay mineral. A polypropylene thermoplastic resin composition comprising, in addition to the above polypropylene thermoplastic resin composition comprising the components (a) and (b), one or any combination of the following components (c), (d) and (e): (c) an ethylene-.alpha.-olefin copolymer rubber or a modified ethylene-.alpha.-olefin copolymer rubber, (d) a block copolymer between a monovinyl-substituted aromatic hydrocarbon and a conjugated diene, a hydrogenation product of said block copolymer, or a modification product of said block copolymer, and (e) an inorganic filler. A modified polyolefin composition useful for producing a shaped article having an excellent bonding property and an enhanced impact resistance comprises a modified olefin polymer material prepared by melting a mixture of an olefin polymer material comprising at least one crystalline ethylene-propylene random copolymer containing from 0.5 to 5% by weight of copolymerized ethylene and having a melt flow index of from 0.2 to 5 with a modifying agent consisting of at least one unsaturated dicarboxylic anhydride and a radical reaction initiator at a temperature of from 170.degree. C. to 270.degree. C. at which the mixture is melted; and a polyolefin rubber having a Mooney viscosity ML.sub.1+4 (100.degree. C.) of 10 to 100 and mixed in an amount of from 5% to 40% based on the sum of the weight of the modified olefin polymer material and the polyolefin rubber with the modified olefin polymer material at a temperature at which the mixture is melted.

A polypropylene composition useful for producing a shaped article, for example, a bumper, having excellent rigidity, resistance to mechanical impact at a low temperature and superior lacquer-bonding property and appearance, comprises: (A) 40% to 75% by weight of at least one crystalline ethylene-propylene block copolymer in which the content of the polymerized ethylene is in the range of from 5% to 10% by weight, in which the polypropylene component has a fraction thereof insoluble in boiling n-heptane, in an amount of 97% or more, in which a fraction of the block copolymer soluble in p-xylene at room temperature, has an intrinsic viscosity of from 2.5 to 4 determined in decahydronaphthalene at a temperature of 135.degree. C. and which has a melt flow index of from 11 to 70; (B) 20% to 40% by weight of at least one amorphous ethylene-propylene copolymer having an intrinsic viscosity of from 1.0 to 2.0 determined in decahydronaphthalene at a temperature of 135.degree. C., and a Mooney viscosity ML.sub.1+4 of from 5 to 40 determined at a temperature of 100.degree. C.; and (C) 5% to 20% by weight of talc in the form of fine particles having an average size of from 0.1 to 5 microns.

A shaped article having excellent rigidity, resistances to thermal deformation and to mechanical impact at a low temperature, a superior lacquer-bonding property and a satisfactory appearance is made from a propylene polymer composition comprising (A) 45 to 65% by weight of at least one crystalline ethylene-propylene block copolymer in which the content of the polymerized ethylene is in the range of from 5 to 10% by weight, in which the polypropylene component has a fraction thereof insoluble in boiling n-heptane, in an amount of 95% or more, in which a fraction thereof soluble in p-xylene at room temperature, has an intrinsic viscosity of from 3 to 4 determined in decahydronaphthalene at a temperature of 135.degree. C. and which has a melt flow index of from 5 to 70; (B) 25 to 40% by weight of at least one amorphous ethylene-propylene copolymer having an intrinsic viscosity of from 2.0 to 3.5 determined in decahydronaphthalene at a temperature of 135.degree. C., and a Mooney viscosity ML.sub.1+4 of from 40 to 100 determined at a temperature of 100.degree. C.; (C) 4 to 20% by weight of at least one high density polyethylene having a melt flow index of from 1 to 10; and (D) 3 to 20% by weight of talc in the form of fine particles having an average size of from 0.01 to 5 microns, the weight ratio of the amorphous ethylene-propylene copolymer (B) to the high density polyethylene (C) being in the range of from 10:1 to 5:3.

A method for the preparation of a modified crystalline propylene polymer usable as a bonding material is disclosed, in which method a crystalline propylene polymer, for example, isotactic polypropylene and a propylene-ethylene block or random copolymer, is uniformly admixed with a modifying composition consisting of at least one organic peroxide, and a modifying agent consisting of .gamma.-methacryloyloxypropyl trimethoxysilane (Component (1)) and at least one ethylenically unsaturated organic compound (Component (2)) selected from the groups consisting of the formulae (I) through (V): ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 through R.sub.9 respectively represent a hydrogen atom or methyl radical, Me represents a metal atom in Groups I, II, III or VIII in the Periodic Table, l represents an integer corresponding to the valence of the metal atom Me, and m and n each represent 0 or 1, and heating the above admixture at a temperature lower than the thermal decomposing point but not lower than the melting point of said crystalline propylene polymer.

Method for the preparation of a modified crystalline propylene polymer

A modified crystalline propylene polymer usable as a bonding material is prepared by uniformly admixing a crystalline propylene polymer, for example, isotactic polypropylene and propylene-ethylene block or random copolymer, with at least (a) one modifying agent of the formula (I) or (II): ##EQU1## or ##SPC1## Wherein R represents a hydrogen atom or methyl radical, Me represents a Metal atom selected from Groups I, II, III and VIII in the Periodic Table, l represents an integer corresponding to the valence of the Metal atom Me, and m and n each represent 0 or 1, and (b) an organic peroxide, and heating the above admixture at a temperature not lower than the melting point and not higher than the thermal decomposing point of said crystalline propylene polymer.
