A solid-state battery including a solid-state battery laminate having one or more positive electrode layers, one or more negative electrode layers, and a solid electrolyte interposed therebetween. Each of the electrode layers of the one or more positive electrode layers and the one or more negative electrode layers contains an active material, and an outermost electrode layer of the solid-state battery laminate has a different active material amount with respect to a non-outermost electrode layer located on an inner side of the outermost electrode layer.

A solid state battery having: a laminated structure in which one or more positive electrode layers and one or more negative electrode layers are alternately laminated with a solid electrolytic layer interposed in between; a positive end face electrode on a first end face of the laminated structure; and a negative end face electrode on a second end face of the laminated structure, wherein (1) at least one of the one or more positive electrode layers has an end portion having a protruding shape protruding toward the positive end face electrode in a sectional view and electrically connected to the positive end face electrode, or (2) at least one of the one or more negative electrode layers has an end portion having a protruding shape protruding toward the negative end face electrode in the sectional view and electrically connected to the negative end face electrode.

A solid state battery that includes: a battery element including, along a stacking direction, one or more battery constituent units including a positive electrode layer and a negative electrode layer each having extended portions, and a solid electrolyte layer interposed between the positive electrode layer and the negative electrode layer; a first external terminal and a second external terminal that a respectively electrically connected to the positive electrode layer and the negative electrode layer; a protective layer covering a surface of the battery element; and a buffer portion surrounding at least one of the positive electrode layer and the negative electrode layer in the plan view, wherein at least a local portion of the buffer portion between a side surface of the electrode layer having the extended portion and the external terminal includes a resin-free insulating material substantially identical to a resin-free insulating material of the protective layer.

A solid state battery that includes: a battery element including, along a stacking direction, one or more battery constituent units including a positive electrode layer, a negative electrode layer, and a solid electrolyte layer interposed between the positive electrode layer and the negative electrode layer; first and second external terminals joined to an extended portion of each electrode layer of the positive electrode layer and the negative electrode layer, respectively; and a protective layer that covers a surface of the battery element other than the extended portions of each electrode layer, the protective layer including a side portion on a central region of a side portion of the battery element extending in substantially the same direction as the stacking direction and in which a first thickness dimension of a first portion is larger than a second thickness dimension of a second portion other than the first portion.

A solid state battery having a laminated structure with one or more positive electrode layers and one or more negative electrode layers alternately stacked with a solid electrolyte layer interposed therebetween; a positive end surface electrode electrically connected to the one or more positive electrode layers; and a negative end surface electrode electrically connected to the one or more negative electrode layers, wherein (1) at least one positive electrode layer has a concavoconvex shape in a plan view thereof at an end on a side thereof that is electrically connected to the positive end surface electrode, and/or (2) at least one negative electrode layer has a concavoconvex shape in a plan view thereof at an end on a side thereof that is electrically connected to the negative end surface electrode.

Solid state battery comprising a concavoconvex shape

A solid-state battery that includes: at least one battery building block including: a positive electrode layer having a positive electrode active material layer; a negative electrode layer having a negative electrode active material layer; and a solid electrolyte layer interposed between the positive electrode layer and the negative electrode layer. The positive electrode layer has a first buffer portion at or adjacent to at least one end of the positive electrode layer, the first buffer portion having a density lower than a density of the positive active material layer in portions other than the at least one end thereof, and the negative electrode layer has a second buffer portion at or adjacent to at least one end of the negative electrode layer, the second buffer portion having a density lower than a density of the negative active material layer in portions other than the at least one end thereof.

A solid-state battery including a solid-state battery laminate that includes at least one battery constituent unit including a positive electrode layer, a negative electrode layer, and a solid electrolyte layer interposed between the positive electrode layer and the negative electrode layer along a lamination direction, and defining: an overlapping part in which the positive electrode layer and the negative electrode layer overlap each other in the lamination direction, and a non-overlapping part in which the positive electrode layer and the negative electrode layer do not overlap each other in the lamination direction. At least one main surface having a normal in the lamination direction has a recess overlapping the overlapping part and defines a step between the overlapping part and the non-overlapping part or in the non-overlapping part.

A vapor chamber that includes a housing having a first sheet and a second sheet facing each other, wherein at least a part of an outer edge of the housing has a step shape in which an end portion of the second sheet is positioned inside an end portion of the first sheet, and the housing has a bonded portion inside the end portion of the second sheet where the first sheet and the second sheet are bonded to each other; a protective film covering a boundary between the end portion of the second sheet and the first sheet at the step shape; a working fluid enclosed in the housing, and a wick on an inner wall surface of the first sheet or the second sheet.

Vapor chamber

A thermoelectric conversion element that includes a laminated body having a plurality of first thermoelectric conversion portions, a plurality of second thermoelectric conversion portions, and an insulator layer. The first thermoelectric conversion portions and the second thermoelectric conversion portions are alternately arranged in a Y-axis direction and bonded to each other in first regions, and the insulator layer is interposed between the first thermoelectric conversion portions and the second thermoelectric conversion portions in second regions. The insulator layer surrounds a periphery of each of the second thermoelectric conversion portions. A ratio (W2/W1) of a thickness (W2) of the first thermoelectric conversion portion to a thickness (W1) of the second thermoelectric conversion portion in the Y-axis direction is greater than 4 and 11 or less.

Thermoelectric conversion element and method of manufacturing thermoelectric conversion element

A vapor chamber includes a housing including first and second sheets that face each other and that include respective outer edge portions joined to each other, supports that support the first and second sheets from inside and that are disposed therebetween, and a hydraulic fluid enclosed in the housing. The first and second sheets do not include an angled portion having an angle of about 90&#xb0; or less between a joint and a support nearest to the joint. The expression 0.02&#x2264;b/a&#x2264;0.3 is satisfied, where a is a distance from an outer edge of the outermost support to an inner edge of the joint between the first and second sheets, and b is a distance between the first and second sheets at the outer edge of the outermost support.

A vapor chamber that includes a housing composed of a first sheet and a second sheet facing each other and having outer edge portions thereof joined to each other to define an internal space, the second sheet having a plurality of projecting portions on an inner surface thereof that faces the internal space; a pillar between the first sheet and the second sheet and supporting them from the internal space; a wick arranged in the housing, and a working fluid enclosed in the housing. A first flow path and a second flow path are formed in the internal space, and a cross-sectional area of the second flow path is larger than a cross-sectional area of the first flow path.

A thermoelectric conversion element includes a laminated body including a plurality of first thermoelectric conversion parts, a plurality of second thermoelectric conversion parts, and an insulator layer. The first thermoelectric conversion parts and the second thermoelectric conversion parts are alternately arranged in the Y axis direction and the first thermoelectric conversion part and the second thermoelectric conversion part are joined in a region of the surface between the first thermoelectric conversion part and the second thermoelectric conversion part in the Y axis direction, and in the other region of the surface in the Y axis direction, the insulator layer is interposed between the first thermoelectric conversion part and the second thermoelectric conversion part. The laminated body has a first principal surface and a second principal surface at both ends in the Y axis direction, and both end surfaces in a direction perpendicular to the Y axis direction. The insulator layer covers the end surface of the second thermoelectric conversion part.

Thermoelectric conversion element and method for manufacturing thermoelectric conversion element

A ceramic multilayer substrate incorporating a chip-type ceramic component, in which, even if the chip-type ceramic component is mounted on the surface of the ceramic multilayer substrate, bonding strength between the chip-type ceramic component and an internal conductor or a surface electrode of the ceramic multilayer substrate is greatly improved and increased. The ceramic multilayer substrate includes a ceramic laminate in which a plurality of ceramic layers are stacked, an internal conductor disposed in the ceramic laminate, a surface electrode disposed on the upper surface of the ceramic laminate, and a chip-type ceramic component bonded to the internal conductor or the surface electrode through an external electrode. The internal conductor or the surface electrode is bonded to the external electrode through a connecting electrode, and the connecting electrode forms a solid solution with any of the internal conductor, the surface electrode, and the external electrode.
