In a window regulator, and a method of producing the same, which moves a slider base along a guide rail via wires in accordance with rotation of a drum, includes a fitting portion having a first protrusion and a second protrusion provided on a drum housing which supports the drum, wherein the first protrusion protrudes from an abutting surface of the drum housing with which an end surface of the guide rail can come into contact and wherein the second protrusion protrudes from the abutting surface by a smaller amount of protrusion than that of the first protrusion, and the drum housing and the guide rail are joined by restricting movement of the guide rail in the thickness direction thereof by inserting the guide rail in between the first protrusion and the second protrusion. Workability during manufacturing of the window regulator is thereby improved.

The present invention is directed to an electrostatic image-developing toner which is used for an electronograph and the like. The toner comprises at least core particles and fine particles being present on the surfaces of the core particles and has a mean particle size of 0.01-1 &mgr;m. The fine particles are polymer of a monomer and contain charge-controlling agent which is soluble in the monomer before polymerization.

An electrostatic image-developing toner comprising at least a resin and a colorant, which further contains at least one compound of the following formula (I): ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 is a C.sub.1-24 substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group or a substituted or unsubstituted aralkyl group, each of R.sub.2, R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 is a C.sub.2-24 substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group or a substituted or unsubstituted aralkyl group, and A is an aromatic ring residue which may have substituents.

A toner for development of electrostatic images containing one or more compounds of formulae (I) and (II): ##STR1## where A and R each represent an aromatic ring residue, and the hydroxyl group and the amido group in the formula are bonded to the aromatic ring A at the adjacent positions, ##STR2## where A.sup.1, A.sup.2, R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 each represent an aromatic ring residue, and the hydroxyl group and the amido group in the formula are bonded to the aromatic ring A.sup.1 or A.sup.2 at the adjacent positions; and n represents an integer. An electrophotographic photoreceptor is formed by a photosensitive layer containing a naphtylhydrazone compound of the formula: ##STR1## wherein X and Y are independently a hydrogen atom, lower alkyl group, lower alkoxy group, phenoxy group or arylalkoxy group; R.sup.1 is a naphtyl group; R.sup.2 is a hydrogen atom, lower alkyl group, allyl group, substituted or unsubstituted phenyl group, or aralkyl group; and l and m are 1 or 2. The photoreceptor thus formed is not only highly sensitive but resistant to ozone deterioration, which markedly improves the durability thereof.

A photosensitive member for electrophotography having a photosensitive layer containing a hydrazone compound represented by the following general formula [I]: ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 independently represent a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an alkoxy group or a halogen atom; R.sup.3 represents a halogen atom; m is 1 or 2; and n is 0, 1 or 2. The process for the preparation of the electrically conductive material comprises the steps of reacting a compound having conjugated double bonds with an oxidizing agent wherein the oxidizing agent comprises a cupric compound and a nitrile compound. The electrically conductive material comprises grainy polypyrrole obtained by reacting a pyrrole compound with an oxidizing agent which is constituted by primary particles having an average particle size of 0.01 to 0.4 .mu.m and has a press molding density of 1 to 1.6 g/cm.sup.3.

A plurality of discrete small cooling surfaces are arrayed on the surface of a movably received heat extracting member in both the axial and rotational directions. The discrete small cooling surfaces are formed by a plurality of one set of parallel grooves formed obliquely to and between the two axial ends of the heat extracting member and are crossed by a plurality of another set of parallel grooves formed in a similar manner but in different direction. An opening of a nozzle is directed toward the outer peripheral surface of the heat extracting member. A continuing stream of molten material is projected upon the discrete small cooling surfaces of the rotating heat extracting member such that the heat of the molten material is extracted by each of the discrete small cooling surface to solidify the molten material into flake particles. Accordingly, the molten material can be applied concurrently onto a plurality of discrete small cooling surfaces.
