A pathogen detection system includes pathogen detectors disposed in different locations, and a controller. The pathogen detectors include a first pathogen detector and a second pathogen detector. The first pathogen detector transmits a first detection result obtained as a result of pathogen detection to the controller, and the second pathogen detector transmits a second detection result obtained as a result of pathogen detection to the controller. In a case where the first detection result satisfies a predetermined condition, the controller causes the second pathogen detector to change a mode related to the pathogen detection from a first mode to a second mode.

Pathogen detection system and pathogen detection method

An air purifying apparatus includes a humidity controller and an intake cooling separator including one or more shafts and an outer wall. The intake cooling separator generates airflow to obtain the humidity-controlled air. The intake cooling separator swirls the obtained air around a first shaft included in the one or more shafts, thereby generating a pressure difference between air included in the obtained air and around the first shaft and air included in the obtained air and around the outer wall, and the pressure difference cools at least a part of the obtained air, and the pressure difference cools at least a part of the obtained air. The intake cooling separator performs centrifugal separation of water droplets generated from the cooled air. The one or more shafts are rotated to generate the airflow, to cause the swirl, and to perform the centrifugal separation.

Air purifying apparatus and air purifying method

A separator includes a rotor, a plurality of flow channels each of which has an inlet and an outlet for gas and are in a vicinity of a rotation axis of the rotor, an air current producer configured to cause gas to flow through the plurality of flow channels, a driving device configured to rotate the rotor to rotate the plurality of flow channels around the rotation axis, and a discharger for allowing discharge of solid materials suspended in airstream produced in each of the plurality of flow channels, in a direction away from the rotation axis.

A piezoelectric speaker includes: a piezoelectric vibrator including a piezoelectric body formed of a piezoelectric element and a plate-shaped body which has a larger diameter than the piezoelectric body and which is attached to a surface of the piezoelectric body in a concentric form; and a film-shaped body that is provided around the piezoelectric vibrator so as to elastically hold the piezoelectric vibrator. The film-shaped body includes a coarse and dense portion in a circumferential direction thereof, which has a physically coarse portion which can become a mountain portion or a valley portion or both, and which is disposed so as to correspond to a natural frequency of an in-phase mode in which antinodes and nodes are formed in a concentric form. The piezoelectric vibrator and the film-shaped body form a sound producing body.
