An image recording apparatus for recording an image on a record sheet by projecting the image onto an image recorder through a projection lens includes an image position detecting device for detecting position of the image to be projected on the image recorder and a reflecting mirror for correction of the image position for shifting an optical axis of light incident on the image recorder in the direction orthogonal to the direction of feeding a recording material. A shift of the reflecting mirror for correction of the image position and a time to feed the recording material to the image recorder are controlled in response to the result of detection by the image position detecting device. This makes it possible to control a position where the image is to be formed in both the recording material feeding direction and the orthogonal direction thereto.

A film strip feeding apparatus for use with a film storage device detachably assembled into the apparatus and having an inner peripheral surface portion defining a circular central opening merging with a film outlet/inlet opening and having a roll of a film strip rotatably stored in the central opening, wherein a rockable member is provided which has carried thereon a stripping roller engageable with the roll of film in the film storage device and operative to unwind and strip a leading end portion of the film strip from the roll of film and feeding the leading end portion of the film strip out of the film storage device through the film outlet/inlet opening, the rockable member being rockable between a first angular position having the stripping roller disengaged from the roll of film and a second angular position having the stripping roller held in rollable engagement with the roll of film. A guide member is further provided which is engaged by the film storage device assembled into the apparatus and having a surface portion to guide the leading end portion of the film strip being unwound and stripped from the roll of film, the guide member providing discharging means for contacting the leading end portion of the film strip being unwound and stripped from the roll of film and thereby removing electrostatic charges which may have been generated on the leading end portion of the film strip.

Film strip feeding apparatus

An image projecting system is disclosed which is provided with a carrier part disposed in an optical path between a light source and an image receiver such as, for example, a screen and a sensitive medium and adapted to be loaded with a microfilm. Inside the image projecting system, masking members for adjusting the range of the optical path are fitted. These masking members rotate around the optical axis of the optical path. Even when an image happens to be photographed aslant in the microfilm, only a stated area of the image is projected on the image receiver.

A roll film feed-out apparatus of the present invention has a pressure roller which rotates freely in obedience to the movement of the film. The roll film carrier comprises a first reel drive shaft to drive an enlosing reel within a first type film cartridge and a second type reel drive shaft to drive an enclosing reel within a second type film cartridge, and selectively connects the reel drive shafts corresponding to type of the cartridge thereby cartridges of different types can be used.
