A work vehicle is provided with fuel supply lines that include a first fuel supply line that connects a first fuel tank and a junction. A second fuel supply line connects a second fuel tank and the junction. A common supply line connects the junction and a diesel engine. A fuel pump is provided on the common supply line. A first check valve is installed on the first fuel supply line and opens in accordance with a pressure differential between a pressure in the first fuel tank and a pressure in the junction. A second check valve is installed on the second fuel supply line and opens in accordance with a pressure differential between a pressure in the second fuel tank and a pressure in the junction. A fuel return line returns excess fuel from the diesel engine to the first fuel tank and the second fuel tank.

A work vehicle having a hood for covering an engine room is disclosed. The engine room has a first region and a second region partitioned from each other, the engine room being configured such that air can be introduced from outside of the hood to the first region. A radiator is disposed in the first region, and air flows through the radiator from the first region to the second region. In the second region, the engine and an accessory unit for the engine are provided. The work vehicle includes an adjusting device for adjusting an amount of the air that flows from the first region to the second region.

A riding mower is provided with a front frame, a rear frame on which a drive unit is mounted, a rollover protective structure (ROPS). A first coupling part couples one front frame and one rear frame. A second coupling part couples a rear end of the front frame and a supporting column of the ROPS. A third coupling part couples the supporting column and the rear frame. The riding mower utilizes at least one triangular structural element defined in part by the first, second and third coupling parts.

A work vehicle includes a fixed hood covering a rear area of an engine compartment housing an engine and an engine accessory, a swing axis extending through the rear area of the engine compartment in a transverse direction of the vehicle, and a swing hood swinging around the swing axis between a closed position and an open position. The swing hood tucks the fixed hood inside the swing hood and thus covers the fixed hood in the open position, and covers a front area and a middle area of the engine compartment and overlaps with a front end portion of the fixed hood in the closed position.

A work vehicle includes wheels and a mower unit that are driven by power from an engine, and a mower driving detecting section for detecting power transmission condition to the mower unit. An isochronous controlling section controls the engine in an isochronous control mode for maintaining an engine rotational speed at a predetermined fixed value, independently of an engine load. A droop controlling section controls the engine in a droop control mode for varying the engine rotational speed in dependence on the engine load. If power is transmitted to the mower unit, the isochronous control mode is selected.

Disclosed is a mower with a mower deck, a plurality of cutting chambers mutually communicated and arranged in a lateral direction within the mower deck, and a blade mounted in each cutting chamber to be rotatable about a vertical axis. A grass clippings guide in form of a vertical wall is disposed in an upper area within the cutting chamber, to guide the grass clippings flowing within the cutting chamber toward a center of rotation of the blade. A shield member is disposed for preventing entry of grass clippings between the grass clippings guide and a peripheral wall of the cutting chamber.

A riding type grass mower includes a right wheel and a left wheel, a rear-discharge type mower unit disposed forwardly of the right/left wheels, a driver's seat disposed between and upwardly of the right/left wheels, an engine mounted rearwardly of the driver's seat, an engine hood for covering the engine, and a restricting unit disposed rearwardly of the driver's seat and at an area downwardly of the engine hood, the restricting unit having a restricting face (including a mesh face) configured to restrict upward rising of cut grass discharged from the mower unit.

A mid-mount mower having a body frame supported above the ground by front wheels and rear wheels, the body frame having a front cross frame in a forward portion thereof with respect to a longitudinal direction of a vehicle body, and a mower unit disposed between the front wheels and rear wheels. A main jack body is mounted on the front cross frame to be pivotable about a pivot shaft extending longitudinally of the vehicle body. The main jack body is in a storage position extending along the front cross frame when pivoted to a first pivot position about the pivot shaft, and in a substantially vertical position relative to the ground when pivoted to a second pivot position about the pivot shaft. The main jack body has a controlled portion exposed upward when the main jack body is in the vertical position. A lawn mower comprises a blade drive shaft with a blade rotatably mounted inside a mower deck supported by a vehicle body, a blower unit including a cylindrical blower housing connected to a grass clippings discharging section provided in a side end region of the mower deck, a vertical drive shaft having a shaft portion with vanes attached thereto inside the blower housing and a shaft portion extending upward through the blower housing, and a discharging sleeve projecting rearwardly along an outer tangent line of the blower housing, a grass collecting apparatus mounted rearwardly of the vehicle body, a duct for allowing the discharging sleeve to communicate with the grass collecting apparatus, and a belt-type blower driving mechanism for driving the vertical drive shaft of the blower unit. The belt-type blower driving mechanism includes an intermediate vertical shaft disposed rearwardly of the blower housing, and a belt transmission unit for transmitting power from the blade drive shaft to the vertical drive shaft through the intermediate vertical shaft.

A riding tractor in which engine output is transmitted to a running device through a hydrostatic stepless transmission. The tractor has a braking device for acting on the running device, a first brake operating device and a second brake operating device operable independently of each other for operating the braking device, and a brake control device for linking control displacements from the first brake operating device and the second the brake operating device to the brake device. The brake control device includes a mechanism movable with the operating devices to maintain the second brake operating device in an inoperative position when the first brake operating device operates the brake device, and a brake lock mechanism switchable between a locking state for locking the brake device to a braking position, and a lock release state, the brake lock mechanism maintaining the lock release position when the first brake operating device operates the brake device, and automatically switching to the locking state when the second brake operating device operates the brake device to the braking position.

A mid-mount type lawn tractor having idle wheels disposed at one end in a fore and aft direction of a vehicle body, drive wheels disposed at the other end in the fore and aft direction of the vehicle body, a mower unit connected to the vehicle body between the idle wheels and drive wheels. The lawn tractor includes a wheel support frame supporting the idle wheels and pivotably connected to the vehicle body. A pivotal movement of the wheel support frame relative to the vehicle body displaces the idle wheels relative to the vehicle body, to produce a running posture or a jack-up posture lifting at least part of the vehicle body. The pivotal movement of the wheel support frame is caused by a jack device.
