The present invention relates to compounds of Formula I: 

Prodrugs of secondary amine compounds

The invention provides a method of sustained delivery of a lactam, imide, amide, sulfonamide, carbamate or urea containing parent drug by administering to a patient an effective amount of a prodrug compound of the invention wherein upon administration to the patient, release of the parent drug from the prodrug is sustained release. Prodrug compounds suitable for use in the methods of the invention are labile conjugates of parent drugs that are derivatized through carbonyl linked prodrug moieties. The prodrug compounds of the invention can be used to treat any condition for which the lactam, imide, amide, sulfonamide, carbamate or urea containing parent drug is useful as a treatment.

The present invention relates to stable dosage forms and compositions of levodopa and carbidopa for the treatment of patients suffering from Parkinson's disease. The dosage forms and compositions comprise both solid and liquid formulations and result in stable pharmaceutical products. Such dosage forms and compositions comprise a metal chelator and a levodopa concentration from about 1 mg/mL to about 30 mg/mL.

Compositions of the invention are preferably sterile or are readily sterilized (e.g., by autoclaving) and are suitable for parenteral administration to any animal, including humans. The compositions are also chemically and physically stable over a wide range of environmental conditions and for extended periods of time.

Aqueous pharmaceutical compositions of 2,6-diisopropylphenol (propofol) and their uses

The present invention relates to aqueous pharmaceutical compositions comprising 2,6-diisopropylphenol (propofol). A composition of the present invention can comprise propofol and two or more excipients as an aqueous mixture. The propofol containing compositions are preferably sterile and are parenterally administered to any animal, including humans. The compositions are also chemically and physically stable over a wide range of environmental conditions.
