Systems and methods for recording 'on-screen' content of a user device via a web browser-based coupling with a content recording system. The content to be recorded may include an audio component and a video component. The audio and video components are merged into a single stream that contains the content displayed via the user device. Segments of the recorded stream are periodically stored to a local storage associated with the web browser. Upon completion of the storage of a segment in the local storage, the segment is uploaded to the content recording system. As the recording session persists, multiple file segments are created in the local storage of the web browser and uploaded, on a segment-by-segment basis, to the server. The server of the content recording system concatenates the multiple uploaded file segments to generate a single file associated with the recorded session.

Web-based content recording and adaptive streaming

Embodiments disclosed herein describe computing private set intersection (PSI) between various parties using delegation to other devices and in one round of interaction (request and response). The various parties involved and their associated computing devices are referred to herein as participants. The protocol is forward-secure and completely hides the data of participants from an eavesdropper. Because the protocol only uses a single round of interaction, it is more efficient and does not require each participant to have servers that remain online continuously.

Delegated private set intersection, and applications thereof

Embodiments disclosed herein describe computing calculations based on two overlapping private sets between various parties. To conduct the calculation, an intersection of the overlapping private sets data lists is conducted without revealing the underlying data. A homomorphic encryption is conducted on the intersecting data elements to allow them to be compared.

Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for performing transactions or atomic swaps using zero-knowledge proofs ('ZKPs'). A first system may propose a transaction between with a second system. The first system may generate a first ZKP indicating that the first system has possession of an asset desired by the second system and that the first system is committing the asset to the transaction. The second system may also similarly generate a second ZKP. These ZKPs may be encrypted and exchanged. The second system may receive an encrypted version of the first ZKP, perform a decryption using a key specific to the second system, and verify the ZKP. When the parties verify the ZKPs, this confirms that each party has committed the requested asset and that the transaction may proceed. The transaction may be committed to a blockchain.

Atomic swap using zero-knowledge proofs, and applications thereof

Automatic annotation of recorded lectures includes the annotation of recorded presentations as presented on a computer screen during a presentation. Such annotation is accomplished with metadata that indicates the original slide and the time in the presentation that the slide was presented. Registration of the presentation tags the presentation with this metadata, which uniquely identifies the presentation and each slide. The metadata enables future searching of the recorded presentation for the annotation, such that segments of recorded presentations in which the slide was presented can be recalled. The searching function can also be used in an integrated system with other applications to enable recall of segments of relevant recorded presentations.
