Technologies for detecting an end of a sentence in automatic speech recognition are disclosed. An automatic speech recognition device may acquire speech data, and identify phonemes and words of the speech data. The automatic speech recognition device may perform a syntactic parse based on the recognized words, and determine an end of a sentence based on the syntactic parse. For example, if the syntactic parse indicates that a certain set of consecutive recognized words form a syntactically complete and correct sentence, the automatic speech recognition device may determine that there is an end of a sentence at the end of that set of words.

Technologies for end-of-sentence detection using syntactic coherence

A system for hand gesture recognition includes a display, camera, memory, and processor. When the processor is to execute instructions, the processor is to estimate one or more motion vectors of an object using a pair of consecutive frames and estimate an average motion vector of the object. The processor may also estimate an average motion vector of the object, determine a first histogram of optical flow (HOOF) based on the one or more motion vectors and the average motion vector, determine depth values based on motion vectors from the first HOOF, and determine a second histogram of optical flow (HOOF) based on the depth values. The processor is also to obtain a descriptor based on histogram values from a histogram of optical flow (HOOF) of the one or more motion vectors, a shape descriptor, and the average motion vector and classify the descriptor as a gesture.

Hand gesture recognition for virtual reality and augmented reality devices

According to various embodiments, methods, apparatuses and systems are provided that allow a management server coupled to a managed device to establish a management session with a management station in accordance with a management protocol. A management server may forward to the management station modified user interface display that provides additional functions to the management station. The management station may interact with the modified user interface display and evoke the additional functions through the use of keyboard, mouse or any suitable user interface input means.
