Methods, apparatus, systems and articles of manufacture to manage automotive radar coordination are disclosed. An example apparatus includes a resource manager to retrieve radar unit requirements, the radar unit requirements including at least one of a unit ID, current time information, vehicle position, and radar resource requirements, a resource multiplexer to perform at least one of time multiplexing and frequency multiplexing according to the radar resource requirements, and a resource hopper to at least perform one of frequency hopping and time hopping in response to detecting an amount of interference from other vehicles that exceeds an interference threshold.

Methods and apparatus to manage automotive radar coordination

An apparatus of a wireless system, product to be implemented at a computer process of the wireless system, and method to operate the apparatus. The apparatus includes an input; an output; and processing circuitry connected to the input and to the output, the processing circuitry to implement logic to: receive, through the input and from a first modem of the wireless system, information on a traffic attribute relating to communication in compliance with a first wireless communication protocol; determine, based on the traffic attribute, blacklisted channels to be avoided during a discovery procedure by a second modem of the wireless system, the discovery being in compliance with a second wireless communication protocol; and send, through the output, information based on the blacklisted channels to the second modem to cause the second modem to avoid the blacklisted channels during the discovery procedure.

Mechanism to improve Bluetooth connection time in the presence of active cellular or WiFi traffic

Methods, apparatus, systems and articles of manufacture to combine frames of overlapping scanning systems are disclosed. An example apparatus includes a time delay controller to determine a first time value and a second time value, the first time value different from the second time value; a capture synchronizer to, in response to the first time value corresponding to a first time, capture a first frame from a first scanning system and, in response to the second time value corresponding to a second time, capture a second frame from a second scanning system; and a capture combiner to combine the first frame and the second frame into a third frame, the third frame including data from the first frame and data from the second frame.

Methods and apparatus to combine frames of overlapping scanning systems

An EC platform including a controller to control multiple integrated circuits (ICs) to synchronize an operational internal clock signal of an IC with a master clock signal. The controller generates commands for the IC to measure a phase difference or latency difference between an initial internal clock signal of the IC and an input clock signal to the IC from a parent IC. The controller further receives a difference signal from the IC to indicate the phase or latency difference. The IC includes a measurement circuit to measure the phase or latency difference, and to generate a difference signal to indicate the phase or latency difference. The IC further includes a synchronization clock generator to generate, based on the initial internal clock signal and the difference signal, an operational internal clock signal synchronized with the master clock signal. Other embodiments may also be described and claimed.

Multi-chip synchronization with applications in multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) radar systems

For example, an apparatus may include a Local Oscillator (LO) generator configured to generate a distributed modulated LO signal by modulating an LO signal based on a reset signal; and a plurality of Physical Layer (PHY) chains to receive the distributed modulated LO signal, which is distributed to the plurality of PHY chains by the LO generator, a PHY chain of the plurality of PHY chains including a reset detector configured to detect the reset signal based on the distributed modulated LO signal, and, based on a detection of the reset signal, to reset one or more Radio Frequency (RF) elements of the PHY chain.

Embodiments of a mobile device and method of communication are generally described herein. The mobile device may be configured to operate as a slave device for a Bluetooth link with a master device. The mobile device may transmit a packet in an ESCO interval. The mobile device may, in an ESCO retransmission slot of the ESCO interval: attempt to decode, from the slave device, a request for retransmission of the packet. If the request for retransmission is not successfully decoded, the mobile device may determine whether the request for retransmission was sent during the ESCO retransmission slot based at least partly on a channel energy level detected during the ESCO retransmission slot. If it is determined that the request for retransmission was not sent during the ESCO retransmission slot, the mobile device may refrain from monitoring subsequent ESCO retransmission slots of the ESCO interval. If it is determined that the request for retransmission was sent during the ESCO retransmission slot, the mobile device may monitor one or more of the subsequent ESCO retransmission slots of the ESCO interval.

Method to decrease bluetooth power consumption for periodic traffic profiles

This disclosure relates to a communication device, comprising: a first communication module configured to communicate data with a first communication partner device according to a first wireless technology; a second communication module configured to communicate data with a second communication partner device according to a second wireless technology; and a scheduling module configured to determine a parameter indicative of a receive data capacity of the first communication partner device based on the data communication with the first communication partner device, and to schedule the data communication with the first communication partner device and the data communication with the second communication partner device based on the parameter.

Techniques for scheduling communication based on receive data capacity

Today, 100BaseT is commonly used in industrial Ethernet application. As a result of being in such an environment, Ethernet cables are subject to abuse, which can result in costly failures and repairs. Here, a system is provided that enables use of remaining and largely undamaged twisted-pairs within Ethernet cables to maintain 100BaseT connections without costly repairs and failures.

Fault tolerant mode for 100BaseT ethernet

Generally, 100BaseT allows for the establishment of links on cables (such as Category 5 or CAT5 cables) up to 120 m or more in length. In a given industrial Ethernet system, many of the cables deployed will be less than 120 m in length, and, in fact, many of the cables are much shorter than 120 m. Yet, the transmission amplitude output from each unit is generally the same, regardless of cable length. Here, Power Back Off (PBO) circuitry is provided in a unit that operates in a PBO mode to passively estimate a cable length and adjust its corresponding transmission amplitudes to generally match the estimated cable length so as to reduce power consumption.
