A method includes retrieving transaction data related to potential participating entities by resolving each of the plurality of potential participating entities between a dataset including transaction data and a dataset indicating the plurality of potential participating entities, wherein resolving the plurality of potential participating entities further includes applying resolution rules requiring matching a plurality of features between respective instances of the potential participating entity in the transaction data and in the dataset indicating the plurality of potential participating entities; determining a plurality of relevance scores based on the retrieved transaction data and entity characteristics of a subject entity, wherein each relevance score represents a relevance of the subject entity with respect to a respective potential participating entity; and identifying, based on the plurality of relevance scores, at least one relevant potential participating entity.

A method and system analyzing transactional data are provided. System and method for detecting second degree relationships between entities by uniquely resolving entities

Methods and systems for administering a browser store for computing device web browser applications, particularly browsers featuring tabbed viewing of web pages. A qualifying trigger event, such as a change in the current active tab of the browser, or a navigation to a URL in the active tab, is detected by an exemplary system. The system, having been monitoring user interaction with the browser's tabs, regulates the browser store such that, upon detecting a trigger event, only data (e.g., cookies) pertaining to the web site whose web page is presently displayed in the browser's active tab is retained. Any other data unrelated to the web site is copied to a virtual memory for future reference and purged from the browser store. Additionally, any data pertaining to the web site that may have been previously transferred to the virtual memory is retrieved therefrom and relocated to the browser store. Moreover, any such data retrieved from the virtual memory that require updating, e.g., upon request or instruction by the site's web server, is updated or replaced as appropriate.

A method and mobile computing device for auto-playing a video clip within a web environment of a mobile computing device are provided. The method comprises including an auto-play script in a webpage downloaded to the web environment, wherein the web environment is disabled to auto-play video clips; and executing the auto-play script within the web environment, wherein the execution of the auto-play script causes at least: receiving the video clip from an external source and automatically playing the video clip in the web environment.

A method and system for optimizing the delivery of content items over a network are provided. The method includes intercepting a request sent from a first node to retrieve a content item from a web source, the request includes information related the web source; extracting from the request a pointer to the web source and requested content item; identifying using the pointer at least one additional node that has previously requested the content item from the web source; selecting one of the at least one additional node as a second node for providing the content item to the first node; fetching the content item from the second node; and enabling a display of the content item on the first node.
