A battery including: a battery can including a cylindrical portion, a bottom wall closing one end of the cylindrical portion, and an open rim continuing to the other end of the cylindrical portion; an electrode body housed in the cylindrical portion; and a sealing body fixed to the open rim so as to seal an opening defined by the open rim. The sealing body includes a sealing plate, and a gasket disposed at a peripheral portion of the sealing plate. The gasket has an inner ring portion disposed on the peripheral portion on a side facing the electrode body, an outer ring portion disposed on the peripheral portion on a side opposite to the side facing the electrode body, and a side wall portion covering an end surface of the peripheral portion. The sealing plate and the gasket are integrally molded to be in close contact with each other.

Battery

A cylindrical battery wherein a central part of a sealing plate, fixed by swaging to an opening of an external packaging can, is configured to be warped toward the inner part of the battery. One embodiment is provided with: an electrode body in which a positive electrode plate and a negative electrode plate are rolled with a separator being disposed therebetween; an electrolytic solution; an external packaging can which has a bottomed cylindrical shape and which houses the electrode body and the electrolytic solution; and a sealing plate which is fixed by swaging to an opening of the external packaging can with a gasket therebetween. In the sealing plate, prior to the swage fixing, an outer peripheral edge to be fixed by swaging to the external packaging can is formed inclined so as to be directed to the inner part of the battery, toward radially outward.

Cylindrical battery

A battery including: an electrode body having a circular-cylindrical shape; and a battery can housing the electrode body. A battery can includes a cylindrical portion, a bottom wall closing one end of the cylindrical portion, and an open rim continuing to the other end of the cylindrical portion. The cylindrical portion has a shape of inner circumference including a corner portion.

A cylindrical battery having a bottomed cylindrical outer can including a bottom surface part and a side surface part; a sealing body that closes an opening part of the outer can; and a gasket disposed between the outer can and the sealing body. The outer can has: a groove part that is formed such that a side surface section thereof extends from the outside to the inside and supports the sealing body with the gasket therebetween; and a shoulder part that is formed to face the groove part with the sealing body and the gasket therebetween and sandwiches the sealing body together with the groove part. At least a portion of the shoulder part extends radially inward of the sealing body from an inner end of the groove part, and an easily deformable part is formed on the shoulder part along the circumferential direction of the outer can.

The purpose of the present disclosure is to provide a cylindrical battery in which a short circuit between an outer can and a sealing body can be suppressed. In a cylindrical battery () according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, a gasket () includes an extension part () extending from between a sealing body () and a tip () on a radially inward side of a shoulder () of an outer can (). The extension part () is arranged so that the gasket () intersects any straight lines connecting an upper surface () of the shoulder () opposite to the electrode body side in the axial direction and an upper surface () of an inner portion () opposite to the electrode body side in the axial direction, the inner portion () being located radially inward of the shoulder () in the sealing body ().

A sealed battery with a battery case that includes a bottomed cylindrical outer can and an opening-sealing body that closes an opening section of the outer can; and an electrode body that is accommodated inside the battery case. The opening-sealing body includes a metal plate, and the metal plate includes a protruding section that bulges toward the outside of the battery cast, and a flange section that is formed on the circumference of the protruding section. The protruding section includes an inclination section that inclines inward from the radial outside of the opening sealing body so as to be progressively separated from the electrode body, wherein a thin wall section, which has a thickness less than portions other than the inclination section and is preferably broken when the inner pressure of the battery case exceeds a predetermined threshold, is formed in at least a portion of the inclination section.

Sealed battery

A gasket of a cylindrical battery according to an embodiment of the present disclosure comprises a cylindrical part, and a ring part which extends from one end part of the cylindrical part in the axial direction toward an inner side thereof in the radial direction. A surface of the ring part which is opposite the cylindrical part side in the axial direction has, an approximately flat surface, A protrusion is provided on the side of the ring part which is toward the cylindrical part in the axial direction. Said protrusion: is positioned with gaps in the radial direction in relation to both the cylindrical part and an inner end of the ring part in the radial direction; and protrudes in the axial direction.

Gasket and cylindrical battery

The purpose of the present disclosure is to provide a secondary battery in which a current interruption function of an electrode tap can be enhanced during an external short circuit, and a temperature rise in the battery can be effectively suppressed. A secondary battery according to one embodiment of the present disclosure is provided with: an electrode assembly having a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and a separator disposed between the positive electrode and the negative electrode; a sealing assembly constituting a positive terminal; a case body constituting a negative terminal; a positive electrode tap connecting the positive electrode and the sealing assembly; and a negative electrode tap connecting the negative electrode and the case body, wherein the positive electrode has a fuse part which has a relatively small cross-sectional area in the positive electrode, and the fuse part of the positive electrode is metallurgically bonded to the sealing assembly.

Secondary battery

A nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery which includes a metal foil collector of one of a positive electrode plate and a negative electrode plate which is exposed at at least part of the outermost circumferential surface of the electrode group in a rolling direction, and the collector is in contact with the inner surface of a case main body. Nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery

A battery including: a battery can having a cylindrical portion, a bottom wall closing one end of the cylindrical portion, and an open rim continuous with the other end of the cylindrical portion; an electrode body housed in the cylindrical portion; and a sealing body fixed to the open rim so as to seal an opening defined by the open rim. The sealing body includes a sealing plate and a gasket disposed at a peripheral portion of the sealing plate. The gasket has at least one protruding portion configured to restrict insertion of the sealing body into the open rim.

A sealed battery including a battery case that includes a cylindrical exterior can having a bottom and an opening sealing body that closes an opening of the outer can; a gasket that is arranged between the exterior can and the opening sealing body; and an electrode body. The opening sealing body includes: a metal plate with an annular part to which an electrode lead is electrically connected, and a disconnecting part that is separated from the annular part when the inner pressure of the battery case exceeds a predetermined threshold; a valve body that is arranged further to the outside of the battery case than the metal plate; and an insulating plate that is arranged between the metal plate and the valve body. The insulating plate or the gasket is provided with an elastic deformation part that deforms in the direction of the valve body.

A wound-type battery includes a wound electrode group having a first electrode and a second electrode with polarity opposite to the first electrode, an electrolyte, a battery case, a sealing plate that seals an opening of the battery case, an insulating plate that is disposed between the electrode group and the sealing plate and that has a hole, and a first tab that passes through the hole to electrically connect the first electrode and the sealing plate to each other. At least a part of a region of the first tab that extends through the hole to a sealing plate side is covered with a tab tape on a side facing the insulating plate. The tab tape includes at least a first adhesive layer and a second adhesive layer on a side opposite the first adhesive layer and is in contact with the first tab through the first adhesive layer.

Wound-type battery

A sealed battery, which is an exemplary embodiment, comprises a battery case including a bottomed cylindrical outer can and a sealing body that closes an opening of the outer can, a gasket disposed between the outer can and the sealing body, and an electrode body including an electrode and housed in the battery case. The sealing body includes a metal plate, and the metal plate has a thin portion formed in an annular shape, a valve portion having a convex shape inside the battery case, and an annular portion to which the electrode lead is connected. The gasket is provided with an elastically deformable portion that abuts against the inner surface of the valve portion and urges the valve portion to the outside of the battery case.

A secondary battery according to an embodiment includes: an electrode body which contains a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and at least one separator interposed between the positive electrode and the negative electrode; a case main body which receives the electrode body; a sealing body which seals an opening portion of the case main body; and a sealing body-side insulating member provided between the sealing body and one end portion of the electrode body and a case main body-side insulating member; the one end portion and the other end portion of the electrode body each form a protruding section; and the sealing body-side insulating member includes a base material and an adhesive layer which is disposed on the base material and which contains a cured object of a curable resin, and the protruding section of the one end portion of the electrode body is adhered to the adhesive layer.

A battery according to an aspect of the present disclosure includes: a positive electrode, a negative electrode, a positive electrode tab electrically connected to the positive electrode; a negative electrode tab electrically connected to the negative electrode; a positive electrode tab tape covering the positive electrode tab: and a negative electrode tab tape covering the negative electrode tab. In the battery described above, at least one tab tape of the positive electrode tab tape and the negative electrode tab tape has a multilayer structure in which an adhesive layer and a substrate layer primarily formed from an organic material are laminated in this order from an electrode tab side, and the adhesive layer contains an adhesive material and a reactive material which generates an endothermic reaction at a temperature lower than a heat resistance temperature of the organic material.
