A disposable sanitary garment for pets, such as dogs, cats, and particularly those who lack control of their waste discharges by reason of advanced age, degenerative disease, and the like, is disclosed. The disposable sanitary garment comprises a disposable absorbent garment for engaging a portion of the back of a pet and extending over the tail area to a portion of the pet's underside for absorbing and containing the waste discharges from the pet. The garment further comprises hook and loop fastening means for securing the disposable absorbent garment on the pet at or about the abdomen area. The disposable absorbent garment comprises a tail aperture, a fluid-permeable top layer, a fluid-impermeable bottom layer, and an absorbent core interposed between the top layer and the bottom layer. The hook and loop fastening means comprise loop fastening tapes affixed to the disposable absorbent garment and an adjustable belt comprising a hook fastening tape for mating with the loop fastening tapes to circumferentially secure the disposable absorbent garment to the pet. The disposable sanitary garments vary in sizes and are packaged in a 'for ever Chelsey' disposable garments packages.

Disposable sanitary garments for pets

Portable grooming and spray devices and processes to automatically cleanse (wash, rinse, and purify) and dry pets are disclosed. A portable grooming device comprises a housing container and situated inside the housing container is a portable spray device having a pet-shape body with four legs. The four legs of the portable spray device safely constrain pets' movements inside the portable spray device throughout various processes to cleanse and dry the pets. The portable spray device comprises plurality of connectors for connecting various apparatus for supplying water, liquid composition, air flow, and the like to the portable spray device. The portable spray device comprises a spray device cavity and plurality of spray nozzles where the spray device cavity channels the water, liquid composition, and air flow to the plurality of spray nozzles and the spray nozzles spray the water, liquid composition, and air flow on a pet's neck, body, tail, and four legs to cleanse and dry the pet. The portable spray device can be used separately or as part of the portable grooming device. The portable grooming device and the portable spray device are formed by rectangular or cylindrical shape sheets of light fiber glass and plastic materials. The processes to automatically cleanse and dry a pet comprise wash, rinse, purify, and dry cycles where the spray nozzles of the portable spray device spray the water, liquid composition, and air flow on the pet's neck, body, tail, and four legs from all directions to ensure the pet's neck, body, tail, and four legs are thoroughly clean and dry.

Portable device and process to automatically cleanse and dry pets

The CPSTP couples security and trace functionality in provider's networks and traceability function is originated in the network to tag with the content as it traverse the path to the requested device.

Content provider secure and tracable portal

In a networked environment, where multiple Internet Service Providers and multi-vendor equipment are involved in e-Business services and applications offering, the risk of overloading the Internet devices are real and security management is a challenge. Internet device traffic overloads could result from spoof attacks, (Denial-of-Service (DoS) or Distributed DoS (DDoS) attacks), device failures, special events, or widespread loads above engineered levels. To solve the problem of Internet security management for integrated optical and wireless devices, a new apparatus and functions running on IP devices are defined in this invention. Each Internet device includes counters and thresholding feature to manage the security attacks and prevent failure of the device being attacked.

Method and apparatus for security management in a networked environment

A system and method for operating a plurality of eVOAs in an optical network is provided. The system comprises a number of eVOAs, each eVOA coupled to one or more optical taps and connected to a microcontroller. The microcontroller comprises a monitor signal processing controller for measuring the power of the optical signal at the eVOAs; a scheduler for continuously cycling and checking the eVOAs operating attenuations; a microprocessing controller for determining, setting, adjusting and updating the eVOA operating attenuation and a means for communications between the microprocessor and the other controller within the system. The microcontroller cycles through the plurality of eVOAs and controls one eVOA at a time according to a predetermined method of the eVOA operation. Individual eVOAs may be controlled according to the same or different methods of controlling operations thereof as required.

Method and system for operating a plurality of electronic variable optical attenuators (eVOAs)

This invention describes a method for controlling attenuation for a variable optical attenuator (VOA) inserted in an optical path of an optical signal propagating in an optical network, comprising the steps of measuring power of the optical signal at the VOA; comparing the measured power with a target power; and if the measured power differs from the target power, changing the attenuation of the VOA in one or more variable size intervals (VSI) so that the power of the optical signal substantially equals to the target power, wherein the VSI being a function of the measured power and target power. The method further comprises the step of comparing the measured power with a Loss-of-signal (LOS) power threshold, and if the measured power is less than the LOS power threshold, changing the attenuation of the VOA in one or more variable size intervals so that the power of the optical signal substantially higher than the LOS power threshold, wherein the size of the variable interval being a function of the measured power and the LOS power threshold. The method dynamically computes a VSI, updates the VOA setting by said VSI, and manages a combination of open and closed VOA control loops to maintain the target power attenuation of the VOA The corresponding apparatus for controlling the VOA is also provided.
