A pneumatic hammer including a connector for connection to an external compressed air source and a striking mechanism. The striking mechanism includes a housing and a piston arranged for reciprocating motion in the housing. The striking piston has front and rear piston portions. The piston and the housing form front and rear spaces. A compressed air conduit is arranged in airflow communication with the front space via a second passage in the housing, at which second passage a first valve is arranged. There is an intermediate space between the front and rear piston portions and the housing. The control unit is alternately subjected to air pressure of the rear space with respect to the intermediate space during reciprocating motion of the piston. The control unit controls the first valve based on air pressure to alternately supply compressed air to the front space and achieving a return movement of the piston.

A pneumatic percussion tool () for demolition and/or breaking work is connectable to an insert tool (). The percussion tool has a percussion cylinder (), a piston (), arranged to travel in the bore of the cylinder (), a buffer (), and a valve unit (), acting on the piston () during operation to produce a repetitive reciprocating motion in the bore of the cylinder () by alternately applying pressure to the upper or lower end of the cylinder () while the insert tool () is influenced by the stroke of the piston () at its dead center at the lower end of the cylinder (). The percussion tool prevents the reciprocating motion of the piston when the buffer () reaches a predetermined degree of wear and the tool is not pressed against any object being worked.

The invention related to a process for suspending on a vehicle frame a driving cab which has two-point suspension. Assembly involves the cab being lowered towards the frame by means of a lifting device so that a contact device fitted to the cab is caused to rest on the portions of a supporting device which protrude on either side of a supporting unit mounted on the frame. This means that the cab lies in a stable manner against the frame and that the fastening apertures of the contact device and of the supporting device are placed centrally to one another. The lifting device can therefore be released and the contact device be secured to the fastening device, thereby fixing the contact device relative to the supporting device but leaving the supporting device freely rotatable in the supporting unit.

Method and device for suspension of a cab on a vehicle frame

A vehicle cab is resiliently suspended on a vehicle frame. Between the cab and the frame is arranged a device for limiting the mobility of the cab relative to the frame during operation and upon tilting of the cab. The device incorporates two stop surfaces fastened to the cab, and a movement limiter fastened to a stabilizer which is fastened to the frame. The movement limiter extends between the stop surfaces so that it shifts between them upon movement of the link arms. The cab's mobility is limited by the fact that contact occurs between the movement limiter and the stop surfaces.
